i launched my first shopify aliexpress dropship project. its been about 16 hours since i went live. I'm: using instagram to drive traffic - CAREFUlLY following/liking followers of product related pages. 7 product pictures uploaded and link in bio on instagram page. paypal payments only (Paypal business account). US Customers only. using oberlo, and google analytics. i bought my own domain name. offering free ePacket shipping on all orders. Please dont ask what niche or what products i'm selling. I've converted my own instagram aged PVA account into this shops "official" page. I'm getting good engagement i believe: 270 following. 206 followers. 79 likes at most. 37 likes on least. between 2-11 comments/tags on each. all products are below $10. Product+shipping is going to cost me between $3-5 at most. profit margin is at 70-100%. ($4 average profit margin). However, i've only gotten 28 visitors (24 unique) to my store since going live 16 hours ago, (not counting the instagram crawlers visiting the link, they seem to be coming from "facebook"). 1 abandoned cart and 0 purchases. is this normal? people seem to like the product, but whats stopping them to visit the store? its not fake accounts, i've been very careful as to who i follow and who follows me and all likes and comments seem to be genuine, e.g. people tag their friends and be like "you need this!" etc. the store is functioning correctly, because i've done a test purchase and everything worked great. based on experience, how long would you say until the first purchase? any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated! thanks!
