Mmmm... Finding abandoned high PR forums, now thats a very interesting idea that I have never heard of before..

If anyone knows of a way to find these forums, then please post here..

I'd also be very interested in this, would be good to have a solid list of abandoned forums you could always spam with success.

GOod luck finding them, lol, they are all over the place. I created a forum left it and came back and out of no where had gotten a PR 3. It realy hshouldn't be that hard to do.

Were you being sarcastic chickuzt? If not can you explain more?

Really? I did not know that :D

I know how to G them i need to import them in hrefer in BULK so 100K minimum. I need to know the missing piece.

Good luck with your pr3 forum btw

If you know how to find them, i.e. have the correct search query to use, and dont mind sharing I could easily whip up a SERPs scraper to collect a big enough list for ya.

If you fancy it just send me a PM

What about a search like "Most users ever online was * 2001". If their user base hasn't grown since then, most likely the forum is basically abandoned.

I really like this idea and have never thought of it before.

Gonna try a few queries and see what I can find.

Genius! Combine a search like the one RaoulDuke mentioned with a search engine that displays pagerank and Bob's yer unkle! You should be able to sort your results with highest pagerank at the top too.

i still don't get it...more details for noob please :)

getting an old phpbb script and installing it and then looking for specific text related to that version might help if you look for it then in google?????
