I have seen some guides where it was told that it's fairly easy to join many groups and post content there. I have tried this with some groups where freebies, coupons are posted. I did join 20+ groups and started to post something (not spammy) to the group... questions, information, some useful stuff. All the posts were sent to the admin for approval.

It feels that this way all my posts where I would promote would go for approval as well... How could I find groups which do not require approval? I know that NinjaBlaster and Jarvee can list groups, I'm just not sure if I do the process correctly or maybe missing something.

Hey, it's not that simple. There are special tags to know in advance with group moderation or not. And to join only such groups. Scheme posting in groups with ad working enough.
