2checkout is a payment processor. But you need a website to get accepted, and they have a Long list of niches they don't accept.
I like it, and I dislike it. There's good and bad.
First of all their website sucks balls. You can never find anything on there. I hate logging in to look for the simplest of things, it's always a drag. Also their fees are a tad bit higher than Paypal, which isn't really a big issue, except if a customer pays in any currency other than USD (and they support A Lot of currencies) then 2checkout will take like 2% or 3% fee on the conversion, or they'll give a bad conversion rate, or both. And they have a rolling reserve type thing where they keep 2% or 3% of every payment you receive for 60 days (could be 90 days).
All in all, a customer pays me $100 in some weird currency, I lose like 7% or 8% on that (receiving fee + currency conversion whatever fee).
These are the negatives. Clearly, there are some.
The positives are that for some customers it's convenient to pay in their own currency. Customers can pay with debit/credit cards and with Paypal. Also 2checkout and Payoneer are partners, so you link your 2co and Payo accounts and then you get your payments from 2co sent directly to Payoneer at no extra fee. Also customer support is fairly quick and helpful.
I think 2checkout is a nice addition to anyone making money online and dealing directly with customers and payments.
But Payoneer and Transferwise are my 2 favorites right now. Transferwise has unbelievable crazy low fees, and Payoneer, well, it's a fucking life saver
