In case for your information, this paypal account is using my father's info, all documents are real, been using it for 10+ years, this is the first time they are limiting my account like this, fuck PP!

Was selling some virtual stuff recently (VCC and VPS kind of stuff), so far I only received 3 payments through paypal, $10/$100/$6, suddently they are limiting my account by providing required info.

The info I provided about the transactions was I'm selling web design service. But In regards of the last one, how am I able to provide such info since I dont sell real products?

Provide purchase receipt from your supplier

Any sugestions guys?

I would recommend you to get a receipt from someone in your town, and submit that as a receipt, you can tell them you bought the website and re sold it, just my two cents

The best thing i ever did was branching out and using transferwise and payoneer and perfectmoney and cryptos and skrill and 2checkout and multiple paypals.

I ran on 1 paypal account for the first 5 years of my online career. And when they shut me down, they Shut Me DOWN! It almost broke me.

That cant happen anymore :)

Same. Been using them for 5 years but they ditch me for paying different people (Internet Marketing Services) which I really need to scale up. I am so happy that I started adapting to other payment methods (Payoneer and BTC) before that problem.

Were you selling directly or through a website?

directly.

I called paypal support and by her suggestion, I took a traffic purchase screenshit from a ad network and explained to paypal I was optimizing buyer's website and sent traffic to his site.

Hope it helps.

Did your buyers write anything in the "Note" section when sending you money?

If not, how PP found that you were selling digital goods?

They didnt mention I got limited because of selling digital stuff. They said they found big changes in account activity, hence the limit.

And buyer didnt leave anything in Note section, he sent through friend/service option, he paid the transaction fee.

I prefer stripe or cryptos now a days. Paypal is crazy bull with no sense of business.

They just suspend you for selling anything digital now i see.

What is 2checkout, do you like it?

2checkout is a payment processor. But you need a website to get accepted, and they have a Long list of niches they don't accept.

I like it, and I dislike it. There's good and bad.

First of all their website sucks balls. You can never find anything on there. I hate logging in to look for the simplest of things, it's always a drag. Also their fees are a tad bit higher than Paypal, which isn't really a big issue, except if a customer pays in any currency other than USD (and they support A Lot of currencies) then 2checkout will take like 2% or 3% fee on the conversion, or they'll give a bad conversion rate, or both. And they have a rolling reserve type thing where they keep 2% or 3% of every payment you receive for 60 days (could be 90 days).

All in all, a customer pays me $100 in some weird currency, I lose like 7% or 8% on that (receiving fee + currency conversion whatever fee).

These are the negatives. Clearly, there are some.

The positives are that for some customers it's convenient to pay in their own currency. Customers can pay with debit/credit cards and with Paypal. Also 2checkout and Payoneer are partners, so you link your 2co and Payo accounts and then you get your payments from 2co sent directly to Payoneer at no extra fee. Also customer support is fairly quick and helpful.

I think 2checkout is a nice addition to anyone making money online and dealing directly with customers and payments.

But Payoneer and Transferwise are my 2 favorites right now. Transferwise has unbelievable crazy low fees, and Payoneer, well, it's a fucking life saver :)

Been using paypal for more than a decade and NEVER had ANY problems with them EVER.
Me neither.

Indeed once they limited the account but that was due to the fact i haven't verified my account. After that everything was smooth till now.

How can people get in trouble with them? It's more likely doing shady stuff than actually being innocent ;)

You need a receipt to get past this.

How can I get a receipt since its digital stuff?

Did those transactions happen on the same day?

It's $10 on 13th, then $100 on 18th, $6 on 19th. The limit email received immediately when the $6 payment email arrived, but the limit was referring to the $10 and $100 transactions.

Me neither.

I'm here for suggestions/solutions, so why do I lie to you guys if I pretend to be innocent? I said I sell VCC stuff and I only received 3 payments for this, other payments were all from network payments.

When it comes to payal its not about why its just a matter of time till you get fcked.

Very strange for a 10+ year old account, shouldn't have happened.

Did you log in from a different IP address recently?
