ok on sept 9th i ordered a new psu for my wifes new pc it arrived on sept 15th.
now after it arrived i realized i had ordered an under powered psu.
ebuyer rules state - returns must be within 14 days , but as many of you no here
i suffer with lower back spinal discs problems, and some times i cant get out
so - i phoned ebuyer last Friday once i was back on my feet and explain ide been unable to
get to the post office to return the psu and yes im 3 weeks late but im hoping they
will take into consideration my back problem, my first reply back from ebuyer said
being penalized for being un able to get out was like a red flag to a bull , so i replied
and thanked them for there sympathetic view to my being 3 weeks late and rather than
be seen as a decent company to do the right thing - they quoted fcking rules in stead
i politely told them - my next step was trading standards .
between last Friday and today waiting to here back from ebuyer i also emailed the company
that make the psu and i told them how ebuyer where being a little over stubborn with there
product - i told them all i wanted to do was return it, pay the difference for the same brand but
higher wattage psu which it seems ebuyer wouldnt do.
today i got a reply from the psu company OCZ
Hey,
result - i have to pay to send it back - but there gonna do the psu upgrade from 500w-600w free
that should have cost an extra 30 pounds .... fck ebuyer and good on the psu maker to do the right thing.,
RESULT.

Hey,
Nico
thanks for your speedy reply. RMA is short for "Return merchandise authorization", which you want to do to get your PSU swapped for the model you originally aimed for. I do not know how, when and what ebuyer is going to decide on moving on with your case, but either way, we offer you to swap your 500W PSU for a 600W unit. If you'd like to follow up on that, please create a ticket here, enter your details and include the approval line I mentioned earlier: http://www.ocztechnology.com/NewTicketEU.html
Once you created a ticket, one of our staff members will get back to you with a RMA and shipping details. All you'd have to do then would be shipping your PSU to our RMA location in the UK, unfortunately we can't cover the costs for this shipment. The upgrade to a 600W model itself and the return shipment to you would be completely free of charges.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
