Favorable alternatives to MailChimp?

What alternatives to MailChimp would you recommend and what do you like most about this alternative?

The MailChimp account at my day job was auto banned - why? Because I changed the physical address when the company moved.. After submitting passports and proof of id I'm now just waiting for someone on their end to make human contact and fix a stupid automated ban.. My personal experience of MailChimp is - it does the job well enough, and its really easy to use.. (even a chimp could use it) but in turn it's often slow, buggy, and overall limited when it comes to the editor. I'd love an editor that can switch between HTML like oldschool wordpress. The contact list management could be better too.
