ETH exploded a couple of days ago and I wanted to find out if there is someone out here who tried to farm ETH using amazon services? Has anyone installed a cryptocurrency miner onto their hardware ? How profitable is it ?

I tried installing a virtual machine (VM) on their servers but i'm stuck at the part where I want to install the software needed for Linux. Am I on the wrong path here ? Should I invest my time in something else than cryptocurrency?

you can trying to make a new PC with couple of VGA like Radeon 920x. try google it on how to mining on ETH.i heard mining ETH is worth than any other coins.

Yeah it started to catch up. I've read a lot about this and about pc hardware to mine these things but my intention was to farm it for free somehow to get a headstart .

I found an article that teaches you step by step how to install an amazon server and mine ETH . PM for link ... i can't post links yet :(

Yes. Every forum I come across has a topic on this thing. I actually invested 20 dollars in ETH with no knowledge on Forex or trading.

Never heard of ETH until this thread, but it looks interesting from what I'm reading so far..Have to look further into this.

you can try by your own PC, buy good VGA, with good spec, and you can start to mining ETH

Can you tell me, What is ETH and AWS?
I can't understand about these abbreviations.

This is the first I am hearing of this cryptocurrency. Looking forward to hearing about anyone's success mining it and turning it into a profitable activity.

ETH = Ethereum (also a lesson in how not to name anything), new and as usual, volatile cryptocurrency.

AWS = Amazon web services, you get 750 free hours on their machines but uh, they will check and you can get banned. Get some cheap dedicated boxes if you don't mind CPU mining (which is way slower, but way cheaper for you) or do your own mining setup if you want to go all in.

somebody know any cloud minning for eth that accept paypal as a payment method?

ok

I won't think it would be profitable, as people are now using FPGA for ETH mining .
