fake traffic source to my affiliate manager

Hi,

I want to fake CPA traffic
So my plan is
- using a landing page to put my CPA link on it. but I m not sure if my affiliate manager will see the traffic source that drive people to my LP or he will only see the Landing page source in his analytics ?!

+ if you have other suggestions on faking traffic sources, please share it :)

Put a buffer site in between and redirect with something that overwrites or clears the referrer. Did this years ago with the porn uploading method. I believe ther is also a service on google if you search "hidemyreferrer" or something, but I would prefer to do it myself.

He might see your traffic source if you redirect to them or implemented his script on your site.

He can ask and people can respond as they wish.

I'm a little disappointed though as I thought there would be more blow back for a guy trying to defraud a network many of us use to generate revenue in a legit way but I've been disappointed before... heck I'm a NY Jets fan and have lived with disappointment for 50 years.
 
I am pretty sure a small group of people do that but it's well hidden between a plethora of legit submits.

In addition it's not really smart illustrating with that cpa network you are working with...

"Defraud" is a strong word. Lots of people send fake traffic to hide their traffic source because they don't want the affiliate company to "steal" the method for themselves.

We even have approved marketplace threads on the forum which sell tools designed to hide your traffic source, of course the #1 use of these is to hide your traffic source from your CPA/Affiliate company.

Your argument can be put towards any White Hatters vs Black Hatters. People ranking on Google using white hat methods are for sure frustrated and upset with guys using blackhat methods to outrank them. I just truly don't understand how you can be a member of, and a moderator of, a blackhat forum, and be disappointed when the wolves don't come out to attack someone for asking for a very basic blackhat method which a huge amount of members of this forum are using.

If we eliminated all of the people faking their traffic source for Max Bounty, you can't even be sure they would still exist, because they are making so much money off these guys who are currently doing that. Faking traffic source doesn't mean low quality leads.
