Fake Referer - But Not My Own Site?

Hey I recently figured out how to fake refer for a WP site, which I think is good for CL when the traffic ought come from your own site, but how do I go backwards?

How do I make search traffic "email traffic, or social networking traffic" from my own site?

Could I just do a little php redirect from a different site other than the one on which the affiliate link exists?

By this could the other site come off as not obviously search traffic, but perhaps a media buy or some other form of traffic? Would my SEO site show up at all?
