Facebook's problem today

It seems Facebook is tightening payment method policies, but using shared accounts like BM2500 or BM10000 can be a workaround for now. Keep monitoring changes as Facebook might introduce new updates soon.

Recently, many prepaid accounts cannot be recharged, and the campaign is still frozen. Switching to a shared account from a large BM, it runs normally. It seems that the system is filtering or preparing for a new "scan".

Currently, many people when adding payment methods to Facebook advertising accounts have switched to prepaid but cannot top up prepaid to run advertising campaigns
I have switched to using a shared advertising account from BM2500 BM10000 and found that it is no longer the case
The advertising campaign is working normally again
I think Facebook is preparing for another incident in the near future
Good insight! Using high-trust BM accounts like BM2500/BM10000 is a smart move, staying prepared for upcoming Facebook policy shifts is key to keeping campaigns stable.

Facebook often introduces surprises like BM 2,500 or BM 10,000 accounts—these accounts tend to be more reputable and valuable. They're essential for long-term growth, ensuring you're mentally and strategically prepared to weather future challenges on the platform.

New accounts with gold bills also often result in no spending, which is also a new meta issue

Is this problem in your working operations that lead to it. I have never encountered such problem.

Yeah, you're definitely not alone in noticing this shift. A lot of people have been hitting walls lately trying to fund prepaid accounts — even some methods that worked for years suddenly stopped working or became super unreliable. Meta seems to be tightening the net slowly, especially with riskier regions or flagged payment behaviors.
Switching to shared BM accounts like BM2500 or BM10000 can be a smart move short-term, especially if you're working with trusted providers and know how to warm up campaigns properly. But like you said, this feels more like a temporary window — Facebook tends to patch these workarounds once they become too mainstream.
Might be a good time to diversify channels too or at least prepare backup systems (other BMs, whitelisted cards, cloaking if necessary). Are you noticing differences in ad performance or approval speed on these shared BMs compared to your personal ones?

I still see it sometimes in big BMs, but the no spending problem is a real headache.

It's great that you have positive contributions. Thanks for sharing.

Many prepaid accounts cannot be funded even though the payment method is still frozen. Many people have reported that even though the payment method is still active, the account cannot be funded resulting in the campaign being paused.

Facebook's problems will never end. and more and more new policies are coming out.

The unspent account status due to pending bill payment is really giving me a headache, it can appear on any type of account

Business account is always more convenient and easier to control, I switched long time ago

Using reliable BM accounts like BM2500/BM10000 seems to bypass the prepaid issue, but stay alert for any upcoming changes from Facebook.
