The Tinder tokens would have been obtained in a shifty way. Usually through a security flaw in the application or website.

Back in the day I had tokens from a lot of the large apps. Skype was the best, and Blackberry. They allowed you to post to a users wall (not sure if that's the case). This sort of stuff borders on the line of being illegal due to the way the tokens are obtained. It could be classed as wire fraud, or fall under the computer misuse act.
