Facebook security check point bug

Hello guys,

Both of my personal accounts and one of my friends accounts are stuck on the security checkpoint after it asks us to change our password because Facebook thinks someone else was on our accounts.

The problem is, the proceeding buttons don't seem to be working (Next or Skip etc). You click the button and it looks like it's loading the next page but it doesn't.

We have tried different browsers and devices etc but nothing works and the is no way of contacting Facebook regarding this bug i don't think. We can't even send them our passports to have accounts restored because the accounts are not disabled.

Please if someone has any suggestion then fire away.
Lot's of other people may be having this problem too.

Do you have any popup blocker/ad blocker enabled? Check and disable it if so.

Disable all the extensions from your browser.
If this not help, you need to contact the support and report the bug.
I had a client who has the same issue.
The best would be when you’re making a screencast they always ask for it.

A question for OP, are all those " machines " you're talking about are in the same network (ISP)?

Hi guys thank you for all the responses but nothing is working. Now this is happening to more people around me, this is a disaster for the businesses if they don't fix this.

I ave submitted this problem to Facebook where ever i could and commented it on their page posts etc, Facebook for developers replied to my comment with a link to a form that was irrelevant but i filled it out anyway and left a note but still nothing has been done.

the button on the last checkpoint just sticks and does not do anything. (Loading circle)

I have similar problem. I verify photos of my friends and on 5th photos after click on Submit got error: Sorry, something went wrong...

I dont know what to do.
My profile is 10 years old. This ruins my buissiness

Same here... I also tried different ISP, different pc, and also tried mobile version, fb app too. Im facing this from last 2-3 days. I know a friend who has this error from last 20 days. Another friend has also this error but yesterday he got his account.

Report the bug and see if you are eligible for a bug bounty.

We get the same problem at all 4 administrations accs with following error and cant fix it:

"Your account has been temporarily blocked We've detected suspicious activity in your Facebook account and temporarily suspended it for security reasons. Your account could probably be hacked because your password was entered on a website that looks like Facebook. This type of attack is known as "phishing." For more information, please visit our help section. In the next few steps, we'll guide you through a security check so your account can be secured and you can log back in there."

Yes.. i think that error shows for mobile version. For me button become unresponsive.
