Facebook Scraping and Retargeting using Ads

Hey, I spoke to someone a couple of weeks who introduced me to the concept of scraping Facebook groups to then retarget them via Facebook Ads using Custom Audiences and LinkedIn, Having looked into this further, I am told it is not possible as email addresses are not public on Facebook.

Any advice on this? I am looking for someone to scrape 3/4 Facebook groups which have around 1000 members in total. I would like to then import this into my custom audience for Facebook Re-targeting.

Creating a custom audience is not easy nowadays. FB is pretty strict about it. You can still do it if you know a way around.
Scraping is possible but the bot can only scrape emails from those who keep their info public. A total of 1000 members wouldn't come up with a significant number of emails to work with.

Sure, I am not too clued up on this stuff. Would we have to scrape the Facebook ID instead of the user? And then we could use it in the custom audience. Or do you have any other recommendations? As I do not believe we will gain many email addresses from this method.

That isn't actually the key goal, as long as we can retarget.
