Facebook Reach Question

Hello,

After running a "lead campaign" with multiple Adsets for several weeks, I generated many leads, but the CTR was low as 1%.

But after some time, those same adsets no longer had any reach in them. They had 0 reach.

Is it possible that Facebook drops the reach of my account in purpose?

It's also possible that FB reduced the reach of that ad account.

Or the campaign has been running for too long and you don't regularly update new content, which also makes your customer file smaller and advertising prices will increase over time. You need to change the ad content and new customer files for the ad to be effective

I believe the audience size that I'm targeting is still huge and I can still get many more leads from it. It's just that is stopped so suddenly

The frequency of my ads on facebook is around 1, so there is no Facebook Ad fatigue yet.

However, I think like you said it's more about a reduction on the Ad account level.

So, will creating a new facebook ad account linked to the same page solve this reach issue?

Facebook's algorithm determines what content is shown to users, and it may reduce the reach of your posts if it believes they violate community standards, contain misleading information, or engage in spammy behavior.

You can create a new campaign right on that ad account and track them for about 24 hours. If they are not effective, you should change to a new advertising account.

I think such a sudden stop will cause the advertising account to be abnormal and will not affect the reach. All advertisers still turn on/off every day and their ads still bring in a large number of customers.

That's how to tell if an ineffective campaign is due to the advertising account or the campaign itself.

If that's the case, then why didn't they block/ban my ad account? or not approve my ads?

Thank you for this great advice. That's what I'm doing right now. I'll keep you posted.

Will duplicating an old adset on a new campaign work for this kind of test?

Meanwhile, while creating the new campaign, I'm getting the following message:

Cost per complete registration may double

Your cost per complete registration for this ad set may cost at least twice as much as ad sets you ran in the past. This may be a result of changing market conditions or the following:

Changing your budget

Consider comparing this ad set to some of your previous ad sets with lower CPAs

If you change your article to improve it, usually the ctr is 3% or more. When fb rates low quality, cpm is high, the ctr also gets lower and lower.

I'm doing an Ad for an eBook that leads to an opt-in page. So, I don't see how I can change an article in my case.

So, I tried what you advised me, and I created a new campaign, and I duplicated the existent adset with its creatives into this new campaign, and it seems the reach and metrics are back like Magic

So, what does that mean exactly? Did Facebook reduce the reach for that specific old campaign?

You should probably change your contents and images more. Try every possible way. Facebook encourage us to innovate everyday. You possibly will reach more.

So, just to understand the Facebook algorithm's better, even if the images and new text used is not better as before, but if Facebook just see regular change it will keep or improve the reach? Is that correct?

In short, when you see your advertising trend going down, then you need to start a new advertising campaign and new content to get more interactions from the audience. That's how many advertisers change frequently.

You need to update new content so your ads can be delivered to new customers

You can use a newer account, I think replacing the account will help you prove whether it's due to your ad account or your advertising campaign.

It turned out to be the campaign.

When I created a new campaign from the same advertising account, I duplicated the old adsets into the new campaign, and the reach went back up.
