Hey Guys,
I'm currently using Facebook's native re-targeting pixel to build my custom audience. However I heard somewhere that it's better to use Perfect Audience or Adroll for this as facebook's pixel isn't the most reliable and fails to fire in many cases.
Is this true? and is there any benefit to using these 3rd party services for retargeting on facebook?

I use Adroll for retargeting, and have only good things to say about them.

Given the difference in the interface and the ease of use, I don't know why anybody would use FB directly.
Given also that you can do run-of-the-web display advertising from the same Adroll campaigns, it's a much better alternative.

When I started using them they were giving a small credit free for new accounts (I think it was $50 or so).

Using FB directly allows you to keep track of all advertising efforts in one place and create all your ads from the ads manager - A lot more convenient.
Also, I understand that with 3rd party services you need to use FBX, plus advertising is not connected to your page.

There are more benefits to using FB directly but the bottom line is if their pixel is reliable.
Did anyone test their pixel against Adroll/Perfect Audience pixels and compared?
