Facebook PIN TO TOP Question

I am owner of a lot of FB groups.

I have biggest local selling group, most important one to PIN TO TOP posts. Now Im unable pin to top post. It says that there is already pinned post, but there is nothing when I try pin to top. It works normal. It tells me that there is already pinned post and if I would like to contnoue with new pinned post. I confirm that and its not working. Pin to top works perfect in different groups but not in this one. I have tried with plenty of accounts to pin post, I have tried to pin post random posts. Nothing works. Where I can contact support? Or can anyone help me?

One of my groups has that same issue... it just started about 2 weeks ago and I've tried everything to make a pinned post with no luck.

I think you are out of luck there as it is a FB quirk.

I have one group that always tells me that 2 posts have been reported too and there are no reported posts.

Perhaps FB should hire one of the coders from here and get that cleaned up.

Yeah, started same by me 2-3 weeks ago. I had services with "pin to top" posts here in Slovenia. 3-4 customers per day, but now im out of business with this group cos of this. If you find someone how to fix this let me know.

You do realize that only people using FB on desktop can see the pinned post, right?
About 50% of people use FB from mobile, and they don't see your pinned post (unless they actively press a button to see it).

I did not know that about mobile; that makes the pinned post almost a waste as it is my understanding that the number using mobile for FB is closer to 80%.

That's why I mentioned it, since I thought you guys were concentrating too much on how to do it and less on is it worth doing.

Just do a quick test: use your smartphone's FB app and go into a group. Now try to locate the pinned post. It will take you a minute to find it. And that's when you actually looked for it. Most people are not looking for it, and since it doesn't show by itself - they will never ever see it...
