So I have a fanpage I created and it has a decent amount of people converting at ~40%....I had a link to the page linking to the CPA offer a php direct from my domain name.

I thought it would convert better if I iFramed the offer in the facebook fan page. So when the user clicks the button to the offer, it pops up in an iframe below the clickable button.

Is this against the TOS of facebook? I was reading, and my understanding was that it was legal if you linked to it.

Of course it is againts Facebook TOS...

dont worry, mark zuckerman wont snipe you out from the neighbors roof, in fact a lot are doing this :)

For Facebook apps, iframes aren't allowed in any shape no matter what. Probably same holds true for pages but thier rules enforcement is always suspect.

This is getting so advanced, right now I have it showing on step 1, add a friend, when they add, step two shows, no step 3 yet. When they click step 2, they then can move to step 3. It forces them to click that button. I give them a popup for instructions on using the javascript code. I now have them going to a framed landing page off facebook.

Now just getting them to convert.

I have a FB app that iframes an offer, in the offer you can break out the iframe and leave FB all together, its sexy !

Hmm ok, I just went back to linking the offer with a php redirect. Thanks for the input...

I'm using a fake account and I was wondering if my page violates the TOS and I lose my publishing privileges, will my personal account be affected to? Or only the fake account?
