Facebook organic traffic down and search traffic up

This is the theme of the site I am running; we posted a lot of unique content, which is attracting more visitors from search engines. Facebook continually reminds us to pay for reaching more users even when your website has acquired 100,000 of fans.

I am trying to get more search engine traffic; we have yet to build links, is this something you would recommend? Is there a link package that would boost the search traffic?
