True. this could be nightmare for YouTube and benefit for facebook.
Advertiser leaving YouTube needs a space to advertise or they will collapse too.

Yea we could but Youtube isn't as easy to get fans. Facebook is easy. At least for me it is. I now the ins and outs. Youtube is terrible, you have to depend on tags and other bullshit...with Facebook you don't have to depend on nothing...you can go and hunt
 
If this is true they would definitely pay higher than Youtube initially to attract content creators. It can break the monopoly and force Youtube to increase their shitty rates as well, they got inreasingly greedy over time.

16k dollars for 175 million views? really? Guys, do the math, income is shit. I was making 1,5k dollars for every million views on youtube...
 
The main thing is YouTube has users but their identity is not accurate as most are fake accounts and has fake profile info.
And as you see Facebook getting strict as fuck (cuz they know this) = more real user with REAL INFO = Easy Targeted Advertisement = More advertiser.

I know, i am happy facebook is finally making this change. Facebook is infinite times more viral than youtube. But i hope this income screenshot is not what to expect when video monetization is finally available for everyone. Maybe low fill rate because just a few advertizers???
