Hi, beautiful people! I could really use your advice
I’m the sole social media manager on my team, and my boss has asked me to create a KPI sheet for our Facebook page.
Here’s some background:
  • We’re a gaming company, and we launched our platform just two weeks ago.
  • Since then, we’ve organically gained 3,000 Facebook followers (mainly through links and banners on our website).
Now, I’m trying to set realistic and specific goals for metrics like reach, interactions, and engagement. Is there a standard growth rate or target number I should aim for? (like within every few months)
I’ve tried referencing competitors, but their numbers don’t seem to align with our situation.

I have numbers to our DUA and registration rate, too. How should I factor them when setting my goals?

I think you should care about the following issues: Reach, followers, engagement, conversion rate. From there, you can adjust the appropriate development direction.
 
reach: you currently have 3000 organic followers, aim for 20-25% growth per month, don't stress about how many more people you have to get

engagement rate: includes likes, comments, shares and clicks on links; aim for 3-4%, 100-200 interactions/post and gradually increase, of course depending on your game, as the gaming industry averages 3-6%

in short, it depends a lot on the game content you deploy

You take some time to evaluate your game, see what the actual conversion rate is in the last 1 week, from there you have a basis to give data
 
The goal is still profit, if there is profit then all indicators are for reference only.
 
You can set a goal of 5-10% follower growth per month, then strive to achieve a 5-7% engagement rate and convert 2-5% of followers into DAUs and registered users.
