Hi, beautiful people! I could really use your advice
I’m the sole social media manager on my team, and my boss has asked me to create a KPI sheet for our Facebook page.
Here’s some background:
  • We’re a gaming company, and we launched our platform just two weeks ago.
  • Since then, we’ve organically gained 3,000 Facebook followers (mainly through links and banners on our website).
Now, I’m trying to set realistic and specific goals for metrics like reach, interactions, and engagement. Is there a standard growth rate or target number I should aim for? (like within every few months)
I’ve tried referencing competitors, but their numbers don’t seem to align with our situation.

I have numbers to our DUA and registration rate, too. How should I factor them when setting my goals?
Any advice or guidance would be amazing! Thank you so much in advance!

Since you've just launched your platform and are growing organically, it's a good idea to focus on KPIs that can measure initial growth and engagement. Here are the metrics you should track: Reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic from Facebook to the platform,...

To create a KPI sheet for your Facebook page, focus on these key metrics:

  1. Engagement Rate – Track likes, comments, and shares to measure interaction.
  2. Reach & Impressions – See how many people saw your posts and how often.
  3. Follower Growth – Monitor how your follower count increases.
  4. Click-Through Rate (CTR) – Measure clicks on links in your posts.
  5. Conversions/Leads – Track actions like sign-ups or purchases.

Set targets for each metric and update regularly to see progress and adjust your strategy.

Important indicators you need to have in your KPI table: number of likes, comments, shares; number of link clicks; number of followers growth; conversion rate. Please monitor closely to make appropriate strategic adjustments

Hi, thank you! I completely agree. However, is there a realistic, specific number or rate range I could use as a reference?

Hi, thank you and thank you for the explanation. I completely agree. However, is there a realistic, specific number or rate range I could use as a reference?

I think you should care about the following issues: Reach, followers, engagement, conversion rate. From there, you can adjust the appropriate development direction.

reach: you currently have 3000 organic followers, aim for 20-25% growth per month, don't stress about how many more people you have to get

engagement rate: includes likes, comments, shares and clicks on links; aim for 3-4%, 100-200 interactions/post and gradually increase, of course depending on your game, as the gaming industry averages 3-6%

in short, it depends a lot on the game content you deploy

Thank you!!!! This really helps

You take some time to evaluate your game, see what the actual conversion rate is in the last 1 week, from there you have a basis to give data

The goal is still profit, if there is profit then all indicators are for reference only.

You can set a goal of 5-10% follower growth per month, then strive to achieve a 5-7% engagement rate and convert 2-5% of followers into DAUs and registered users.

To create a realistic KPI sheet for your Facebook page as a newly launched gaming platform, start by targeting a monthly follower growth rate of 5-10%, aiming for organic reach at 50-70% of your current followers and boosting reach 2-3x with paid ads. Set engagement goals at a 1-5% rate, focusing on likes, comments, and shares, and aim for a 2-5% click-through rate (CTR) to drive registrations or game downloads. Incorporate DUA and registration rate data by linking post performance to conversions, and adjust KPIs monthly as you test different content types like videos, gaming highlights, and memes. Use competitor data as loose benchmarks, but let your goals evolve based on your audience’s behavior.
