Hi there,

I have some questions about FB login that I was not able to solve myself or by using the search feature.
Please note that I'm not interested in hacking anyobody's account, I'm just interested in understanding how the system works.

What is the best way to login into an account remaining anonymous ?

- I already tried TOR and my account was instantly blocked, even if I set my own country as exit node.
- I suppose I could login with a standard browser and no proxy from a public wifi, is there any chance my browser and activity would be footprinted ?
- What happens when you login by mobile device using a proxy like Orbot ? Does it still block the account like TOR ?
- Does the FB mobile app send your phone number to the server too ? I think so...

Thank to those who will help me in this matter.

Thanks for the reply.
Any side effects in logging in by a public wifi ?

a public wifi is good too since its a residential IP. But careful not to access > 3 accounts on that same public wifi. FB will start linking the dots

Proxies, proxies, proxies.
Facebook is smarter with security these days, especially on the mobile app. Using proxy is your only hope.

Thanks for the replies. I'm definetly looking into proxies.

So probably you guys who advised on "using proxies" think that they couldn't trace the datacenter of the proxies (facepalm).

Do you as a normal Facebook user use a datacenter proxy to connect to Facebook everyday?

How about logging in from a university WiFi? There are thousands of students using it everyday, so I'm guessing Facebook would have to ban all accounts if they want to ban yours..
