Facebook journey to 100K likes

After only reading this forum I want to take action.

Purpose : building a Facebook page to 100K likes. Moneytising is a problem for later ;)
Niche : Sport
Methode : Facebook ads (first time use)
Budget : start with 75 euro

Day 1 :
I made 2 facebook ads
- 15 days : 1 euro/day -> Boosting a post from the page
- 15 days : 1 euro/Day -> Liking my page

Result ad 1 : 6.5k likes , don't know how many page likes (reached 38K people)
Result ad 2 : 2.7k page likes

Total spend day 1 : 2,04 euro
Total page likes : 3.6k page likes (started with 10 likes from real friends ;) )

@roxxer : Total post count +- 25
I will follow a post count of 5-8 posts /day but today I make 10 posts (because of the launch and a lot of new info ;) )
 
@Alex Baker : Yes. I was hoping to get 250 likes / euro but it's getting better. In a few days I can see some results (organic/paid likes). Now I'm hoping to get like 100K likes with my budget (I took 75 euro to testdrive Facebook ads)
 
at the moment I've spend 2.36 euro and my likes are 4.1k I'm hoping to hold this stats for like 30 days.
 
Seems fb is winning. Thanks to their fucked up algorithms now people even need to pay to have some descent results.

Anyway, beginner tip. You should invite everyone that liked your post to like you page.
 
Yeah but I read I only can invite like 100 persons a day (this post had 8.2k likes atm)

If you got more than 1 fb account you can invite more though!
And I'll suggest that you target the ones who liked your post in your next ad(the one for liking your page).

I'm the only who think it's too much for 2,04 € O_o
 
Which countries are you targetting? I just can't believe how you got 4k likes for just 2 euros with your first try.....

Great success. Last time I looked at FB ads for likes they estimated like $1 for 1 like.
 
Good results, but try and target tier 1 countries (US, Canada, UK, Australia) otherwise you may end up with a page with traffic that is very hard to monetize.

When I looked at FB ads I targeted US, UK, Canada and Australia. Do you suppose that is why I saw estimates of around $1 per like?
