Facebook Fanpage types

Does anyone have experience with or advice on selecting the best type of fanpage on Facebook?

I have noticed that there is a difference in the amount of 'Likes' I receive in the stream depending on which page type I register the fanpage...??

For instance, creating a new fanpage as "website" versus "technology/service" or "actor" versus "tv show".

There doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason to which one outperforms the other - thoughts???

That's exactly what I am thinking, but don't have experience to back it up yet. It seems to give more weight to the 'website' type?

I cant' seem to find any information on this subject, but there is a noticeable difference between my page types on the exact same subject.

Anyone else -- thoughts?
