Hello,
I created a free subdomain through http://freedns.afraid.org/ (subdomain related to my "win a Starbucks Giftcard" CPA offer. The subdomain redirects directly to email submit offer CPA page.) I went to update my FB status with the subdomain link in my personal FB page (as a private post) to test it out. Facebook restricted me from posting the link saying that "You can't post this because it is a blocked link" and the following message "The content you're trying to share includes a link that our security systems detected to be unsafe: giftcard.st**buckscoffeeshops.com. Please remove this link to continue. If you think you're seeing this by mistake, please let us know."
If I had a paid godaddy .com site with redirect, would this still happen. I created this page faceboo*.com/freestuff4unmi and am using a CPA affiliate that allows offline traffic. (I placed * b/c Im not trying to spam my link, just get some feedback) I planned to make flyers with this site link and place them under apartment doors in the neighborhood. For instance- the flyer would say to win a free Starbucks gift card and other free offers and tips go to faceboo*.com/freestuff4unmi. The flyer would list some tips for saving money at starbucks -For instance "Order The off-the-menu drink size ?Short? (cheaper and you still get free refills). I thought about creating a more personalized flyer and link address to have each local town name in it, like "Attention Long Beach residents" on the flyer. I'm part of several CPA networks (peerfly, adworkmedia, cpaway) but I believe only adworkmedia would allow my offline + online combo. I know peerfly doesn't allow offline as I asked.
So, to sum up- my question/situation is: I'd like to combine offline marketing + a CPA offer + Facebook but FB isn't allowing my subdomain redirect to be posted. What can I do and does my overall plan sound viable? My goal is to make a plan and stick with it for a while, testing and making changes as needed. I've been jumping around a lot which is why despite trying for a year and reading this message board, I've made $0!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Denise
