Hello

If your ad account is disabled but still has a remaining balance, you should close the account. Facebook will then automatically refund the balance to the card you used to add funds.

You should contact Meta Ads Support and submit an appeal or billing ticket with proof of payment, as only they can review refunds on deactivated accounts. If the account was disabled for policy reasons, funds are usually refunded automatically or applied once the review is completed.

Does that mean it’s only the ad account that’s disabled, not the entire profile?
If so, then you still have a chance to get a cashback, but you need to make sure you added funds using a real card.
Try to reach Meta Chat Support for direct assistance.

Do not create new accounts until this is resolved, or you risk losing more funds.

Prepaid accounts sometimes carry more risks, and support takes longer; you might consider using a postpaid account.

Please contact Meta support. If your account is disabled and you cannot appeal, any deposited funds will be lost and cannot be refunded. For safety and convenience, switch to a postpaid account.

Your only chance is to contact Meta Ads support to request a review of your disabled account. If they maintain the ban, the remaining balance is usually unrecoverable.

If an ad account is disabled, you’ll usually need to contact Meta Support or submit a request through the Account Quality section to ask about refunds. Any remaining balance isn’t refunded automatically unless the account is reviewed or reinstated, so reaching out through official channels is the best option.

This issue can only be resolved through Meta's system. You need to go to the Payments or Account Quality section to check if that amount is recorded as your remaining balance, then submit a payment support request.
If the account is permanently disabled due to a violation, the chances of a refund are usually very low, especially for amounts already spent or held for reconciliation. Third parties are almost unable to intervene, so avoid trusting external "recovery" services.

Account closure means your balance will be frozen; Meta never automatically refunds this money. To reclaim your funds, you must submit a refund request through Account Quality or Ads Support. However, be prepared for a large part of the initial process to involve AI working through rigid forms. The only way is to submit a detailed request and patiently wait for a real support representative to manually review your case.

You should contact Meta Ads Support and submit a billing or appeal request with proof of payment. If the deactivation is reviewed, unused funds are usually refunded or restored automatically.

Hi @Ulilooipeo8 i,

Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, once Meta deactivates a personal ad account with a balance, getting a refund is a long and often unsuccessful process through their standard support.

The reality of Facebook advertising in 2026 is that personal profiles are no longer stable enough for consistent scaling. We have been in this industry for over 5 years, and the only way to avoid losing funds and facing instant bans is to move away from "farmed" or "self-created" setups.

We provide high-stability Agency Solutions designed for serious advertisers:

  • Real Profiles via Legal Contracts: We don't use bots or farmed accounts. Our profiles are sourced from real people through legal agreements, providing the highest level of authenticity and "trust score".
  • Verified EU Business Managers: Your ads run through legitimate European company structures, making them far more resilient to the "random" deactivations you just experienced.
  • Fund Protection: Unlike personal accounts, agency-level structures offer much better stability and professional support to manage your capital safely.
  • Scale Without Fear: Our assets are pre-warmed and ready for high-volume spending from day one.
We take this business very seriously and focus on providing a plug-and-play infrastructure that lets you focus on your ROI, not on technical bans.

Refund requests usually have to go through Facebook Ads Support directly. A refund is typically only issued if Meta determines that the account was restricted by mistake. If the suspension is related to a policy violation, refunds are generally not approved.
