Facebook AI — Helping or Killing Marketers?

In my opinion, Facebook's AI is both optimizing and chaotic: it helps distribute ads more efficiently when the data is good and the accounts are "clean," but it's prone to a lack of transparency, accidental account suspensions, and difficulties in appealing against new users or accounts with little history. In short: good for the system, difficult for humans.

I think ai helps, like it can save time - I just not a fan of using it where it's not necessary

it’s a bit of both I think, AI helps with predictions and automating stuff, but it also throws random bans and weird reach drops that feel like problematic more than help. most marketers I know respect the AI for scaling, but they still double-check everything manually

FB’s AI decides reach, ads, and bans now.

Do you think it helps optimization or just creates chaos?

Curious to hear real opinions.
Honestly, it can be a double-edged sword. AI can help optimize reach and targeting, but relying on it too much without monitoring results can lead to unexpected outcomes. Just keep testing and adjusting manually alongside AI insights to stay in control.

In my opinion, Facebook's artificial intelligence has two sides, both advantages and disadvantages. It helps distribute ads effectively but also lacks transparency, making it difficult for users to file complaints when they encounter account issues.

It helps optimization, but only if the account, data, and compliance are clean.
For good advertisers, FB’s AI improves delivery and scale.
For borderline or new accounts, it feels like chaos because the system has zero tolerance and little transparency.
So it’s not broken — it’s just unforgiving.

Facebook can’t replace media buying and marketing entirely.... because more things are needed: strong event match quality, server-side tracking for the best results, migrating winners and scaling the right way... which is still a manual process. there is hundrets of more things ... if your backend is shit ... FB Ai gives you more shit ... And if you decide to do nothing marketing-related, you’ll probably go through cycles of good and bad results before everything eventually turns bad.... because of the nature of wrong audiences signals.

Almost all big corporations will eventually move to AI as it makes data collection, analysis, presentation, and handling easy. So, we should live with it whether we like it or not.

I think it may be beneficial in the short term, but in the long run it will cause more obstavles. Everything has two sides

The reality is that Facebook's AI both optimizes things better and makes them more unpredictable.

It distributes very effectively when accounts and ads are performing well, but when problems arise, you almost never know exactly why. For advertisers, it sometimes feels like a "loss of control" even though the system is still working correctly based on its data.

AI helps with automation and prediction, but it also causes random bans and reduced reach. Marketers respect AI but still perform manual checks.

Facebook's AI helps the system function. It's not because you're doing something wrong, but because you're playing on a field where the rules are written by a machine.

I think AI helps it can save a lot of time. I’m just not a fan of using it where it’s not actually necessary.

Facebook’s AI helps optimization but also adds complexity and unpredictability. It improves targeting and delivery when you set clear goals and clean audiences, but many marketers feel it reduces control and makes results less predictable than before.

Facebook's artificial intelligence (AI) has both the potential to optimize and the potential to cause chaos. While AI can help optimize reach and targeting, over-reliance on it without monitoring results can lead to unintended consequences. We respect AI but still perform manual checks.

This is the new trend of the times; all platforms will involve AI, so you need to get used to it. It might be a little difficult at first.
