I run a cryptocurrency news website and I just started out with Facebook ads. Currently, my cost per link click is $0.86 and I'm looking to get this down a lot. If anyone has any advice, please let me know! I would also be open to hiring someone for this position, if interested!

I used the Traffic objective within the United States. Not that I know of.
Facebook will automatically show your ads to users who are most likely to find your ads relevant. You can use three audience selection tools to further target your ad placement. The core audience defines the audience based on criteria such as age, interest, and geography.

First, don't use interest targeting, use broad, the algo is smart enough

Increasing click through rate (CTR) will increase your relevance score, and thus lower your CPC. I do not run crypto niche ads in Facebook, I run ads at the moment related to travel niche. But desktop newsfeed ad placements, have generated higher CTRs for me, resulting in better (lower) CPC.
