Because of the sheer volume of threads we get on Facebook ads in this section, we have created this thread to keep this topic under one roof and to stop people repeating the same thread over and over, usually by accident.

From now on, if we see any more threads about this being created in this section we will be closing and deleting them.

We hope that everyone will found this thread useful as we know it's a subject that many of you have an interest in. Post away!

It's a great idea to keep all posts about ads in one thread. :D

Let me start the first topic now:

It seems FB changed the ad account daily spending limitation algorithm yesterday!

For new ad account in personal profile or BM, it was always only have $50 daily limitation before.

From yesterday, it seems FB changed the algorithm, they give each ad account a much higher daily spending limitation by random!

Following screenshots are our two new ad accounts in our BM which we made today:

Good to know, they've already raised my personal account limit, but it used to be a pain in the ass to increase that threshold

FB is accelerating early ad testing, so the random daily limits for new accounts are higher than before. It's good to scale up gradually and monitor spending behavior, as these limits may fluctuate as the system reassesses the risk of accounts.

How do I keep the pixel and the audiences created with it safe? I mean, how do I avoid losing it due to a ban?
Is using the pixel with an account that isn't used for ads the solution, or what?

You can keep your pixels safe by maintaining clean ad practices, separating pixels per project, and using a highly reliable BM to avoid chain effects when things go wrong. Remember to regularly back up your event data and transfer ownership to a stable BM to protect your assets if your account is restricted.

As I start testing different creatives on Facebook, I keep seeing big performance fluctuations even when the audience and budgets stay the same. What methods do you use to identify whether the issue comes from the creative, the learning phase, or Meta’s system side changes?

You should manage your pixel in a highly trusted BM and not use that BM to run ads. Then you can share partnership rights to another BM and run ads in that BM to keep your pixel safe.

this is not a new thing, it s just becasue ur bm is warmed and u spend some on it, i just tested creating new ad acc on sme of my new bms, they re all starting with 50$ daily ad spend after adding card

to handle this, i always keep a seperated bm as a pixel house in a seperated setup and only share the pixel with another bm i use for ads, this way, u keepit very safe, and non directly connected with the ads bm setup in case u loose any of it or get the ads setup shadowbanned

i messure if the fb setup is normally performing by cpm /cpc am getting on that ad acc, for landing page by conversion rate of that niche u advertising on, if both are good than 99% is just the ads u using : check and test more creas... if all done, i forget about that product advertising and move on to the next, as simple as that

but what if the BM I share with gets flagged? Does that not put my pixel at risk anyway?

What's the best way to get a better CPA — ABO or CBO campaigns? What's the difference between them? When should I use each one? I have 6 creatives that I believe will work, but I've never tested them — what should I do? I have 2 creatives that maintained a 1.4 ROI, but I simply increased the budget from $50 to $55 after 24 hours and the ROI dropped to zero — I didn't get any return after that... Any tips on how to improve my traffic management?

What matters is the BM that created that pixel. If it’s still functioning normally and hasn’t been flagged, then your pixel will continue to work normally as well

True, a reliable BM makes a huge difference. I've had projects tank just because everything was tied together, so keeping pixels separate is definitely the safer play

The first insight is that the copy might be weak — a 1.4x ROI is very low. I’d look at the secondary metrics in the structure to see if everything is fine and whether the issue came from the creative or the copy.
As for the other creatives, an interesting test would be to set up a CBO with 3 ad sets targeting different audiences, and 5 creatives inside each ad set. The budget doesn’t even need to be $50 — that’s a lot for testing. I’d put something around $20 and let it run for 2–3 days. Then, whatever performs best overall, you keep inside the same campaign, and the other things that worked, you isolate into separate campaigns to increase volume

Hey, new to BH World and wanted to ask if anyone has a sense of whether all of the agencies renting FB Ad Accounts for GH/BH are going through China. I know that at least was the deal historically, and as someone in the US targeting ads to the US I've found a lot of agency account names are in Mandarin. No problem with that, but am trying to figure out if there are any Meta partner agencies that are offering access to their own accounts rather than whitelabeling GatherOne, Cheetah Mobile etc.

Not everything goes through China, bro. The Chinese market is huge; if I'm not mistaken, it's about 1.4 billion people. That's the main reason:D:D:D

To minimize the risk of being banned, it is essential to separate each asset and link it to its own BM. I think the pixel should belong to a different BM, a BM specifically for Pixels and other assets should also have their own separate compartments. This will limit the risk, it only limits it, bro, there is still a risk of being banned.

If you spend well, consistently and ensure policy compliance it will increase steadily and in the opposite direction it will fluctuate and decrease at any time, challenging but also very attractive for new advertisers. :):)
