Facebook ads costs

The cost of Facebook advertising for my online store has increased by 100% in a couple of weeks.
I haven't changed anything, but the cost per click has doubled. Now, in just a few days, it became so expensive that I had to stop all advertising.

The same strategy has worked for 5 months, and now suddenly everything changed. I've been continuously creating new content and refreshing ads. What could have happened that suddenly made them really expensive? The click prices changed from under $1 to $2-5 per click.
Have you solved this problem yet?
It seems that this product is not good and may be saturated with users or you can test other vertical products to see if the results are different. Look at CPM, CTR .. and you change.
If necessary, please chat with me, I will show you how to optimize it for you. Good luck )

The customer base you are targeting has been exploited, create new content and target new customer files.

Have you tried changing the account, target audience, and page you're using? If you've changed your account, page, target audience and content and it's still expensive, check the product again. Is the product still relevant?

I think your product or campaign is no longer suitable, it is only suitable for a small customer base, try changing your content or media to make it clearer.

The problem of high advertising bids comes from many causes. It could be because your advertising content is no longer effective, or your advertising account has limitations that prevent your ads from being distributed to many new customer files.

Facebook advertising does not maintain its form but fluctuates up and down. makes us all confused

What new content do you need to spend after 3 days through the campaign learning period, then choose the best campaign and expand

You can change fanpage or switch to another account to test

You can change your page account and don't make too many payment errors.

Customer needs change or you've targeted the wrong audience, which makes everything more expensive

your product problem or maybe your advertisement has been degraded. Be creative every day to make your advertising more effective: change products, create ads with more attractive content and images.

One thing is that you are not changing your advertisements, please update everything: account, fanpages, content, media,... I think your product still has potential.

its not new problem. this type of problems happen.
like people above said. increasing competition, changes in algorithmas etc.
so for little time like week pause your current campaigns. and start doing a/b testing.
after you find proper campaign start with that and run your old campaign too but with half budget and later run those campaign which gives better results.
when you do a/b testing run two types testing one with advantage plus other onw without advantage plus.

You can try to create a new campaign and change the image to be more eye-catching, if not I think you should change your product
