Do you have a Facebook ads VIDEO SOP (mainly hook) that you would like to share?

E.x The Hook is really important because of the humans very low attentions span.

Also, what about the rest of the structure of your video? Do you do pain point resolution, are they stories, etc?

thank you my friend for being helpful. i waited for this kind of threads to get right answer for my Q
as we all know FB is so strict nowadays for both free and promoted website traffic so i need good strategy to get about just 5000 visitors to my blog through ads, i have funny videos website i am afraid to use my ad account to promote my links and got blocked i don't trust fb anymore they ban people from no where even white hat content :(
i appreciate your help and thank you in advance

This is a complicated question - why do you think you will get banned?

Crap I want to ask about this but
  • Don't ask me about payment solutions/account supply, we have our own internal solution in house, and I'm not looking to sell/self-promote.
I bought aged farmed accounts but the problem is after adding VCC I get suspended immediately. I don't know if adding the VCC to a Paypal account is the solution. I am using the VCC last 3-6 months but not until November.

Please let me know your opinion. Its okay if you don't reply :)

Contact your bank - ask them to supply cards

Can I target a specific group member?

Or is it possible to target only those people who have liked some specific page?

A facebook group? No, but there is a way to target the members if you have access to the group - it requires a lot of scraping

I'm more curious about WH campaigns :)

My scaling strategy for WH is similar to BH but I'll do 10x adsets instead of 3x, which helps me figure out which one(s) to keep.

Yes the ROI is very similar due to our product we can't market outside of the EU - I think if we where marketing globally then the ROI of Pixel vs Group would be totally different.

For us I think the page works because it's a very specific kind of person we are targetting, the marketing pool is smaller but our page engagement rate or when we post an offer directly to the page gets a better response than any other brand page we run (in house)

So we take our facebook fans ignore them when targeting and then go after a very specific set of people within that pool. So what we found that has been working well is to slice our advert age to a segment of 32yr old - 45yr old and then again 59 - 69yr olds our product seems to do better when marketing ads to that age group.

I think one reason we do better with group vs pixel is that our site is still growing we have seen a mass amount of growth this year I think as that continues our advertising is going to have to change and adapt with it, and I suspect we will see the pixel start to outperform the fans.

We have wanted to get every ad to work where possible with the smallest amount of money spent so every ad we were running at the start of the year had target pools of 10-20k now it's around 50-80k I've found going super specific with targetted and negative has done wonders for us.

That's very interesting

Hey kasher9,

1. Have you tried Facebook ads with Indian traffic?
What was the average Cost per Lead?

2. Have you run fb ads for survey offers? What was the cost per lead?

Anyways...
Thanks.

1. Yep one of our main campaigns is indian traffic

The cost per lead is irrelevant to you since the CPL varies based on your campaign (see my previous posts) - but india is very very cheap.

2. Again, this is impossible to respond to because it varies based on your campaign performance/bidding audience/GEO

How do you go about scaling WH campaigns?

Answered this in this response already.

What kind of ads would you recommend for a clothing company?
Like what type in order to make sales

Video ads
Picture ads
Or what?

Carousel works really well for clothing company as it offers consumers a choice to browse, interactive ads work well too.

1. What is the Reason of facebook page reach is Down.?
2. Its Possible to get USA and UK Like in Cheap Price.?
3. Why Mia Khalifa is Too Hot.?

1. Because facebook reduced reach for pages and user sentiment
2. Yes

How do you look at the future for JSON ad with chatbot interaction and possibly deal inside the chat within, instead redirect them to landing pages?

We have completely stepped away from JSON chatbots since facebook is just so picky what gets approved that way. We start the chat through the box instead.

Let's say you have a funnel with an opt-in (where you get your leads by giving them something of value but for free) and after they sign-up for that you introduce them to an offer.

You don't have any "pixel data", but you have an email list of 1000 people who opted for a similar thing as you are giving in that sales funnel.

What's the best starting point with FB ads in this case (with the assumption that you want to make sales as soon as possible)?

Should one run ads for leads first (since you can create similar audience out of optins), and then after 20-30-40 sales create similar audience out of buyers?

Any other insight is helpful.

Btw. price will be tested ($37-$47 range), and I have seen that only one or two people are marketing these kinds of products. Does that mean anything?
Btw2. have you notice if video ads have significantly lower cost comparing it with picture ads?

Have the 1000 emails converted somewhat at least?

Video ads have better quality, but CPM can be higher.

How my friend i can build a viral page tips and tricks .... (increase likes fast) ?
thanks for advance.

1. Buy page likes
2. Buy post boosts
3. Build good content.
4. Use videos to get people to engage

Hey, I’ve been learning FB ads for a while with improvements little by little, started off with losing money to breaking pretty much even on ad spend vs profit but I can’t get over the hump and kinda gave up... sad anyways here are my questions...

1. I have a small budget right now, soo to get a big enough sample to have lookalikes etc... is almost impossible for a long time, what should I be focusing on in that situation?

2. What are the common causes for a person to atc, get to the checkout and just leave? ... my site was not secure during this and I did not know, but now I paid for the ssl certificate, would that even make a difference ... I know u can’t answer this 100% because it could me anything but just curious on what it might be

3. When I do my ads it’s for one specific product instead of the niche of the site not sure if I’m wasting my time doing it that way or not, for example I have a sportswear site and I’ll make a ad for say a running shoe I sell and have it so when it’s clicked it goes to that page instead of making my ad on all sportswear in general

Thanks for the reply if their stupid questions I guess skip it

1. If your budget is tight, I wouldn't suggest fb ads, instead I'd suggest paying someone to do shoutouts for you, and test your marketing funnel out this way.
2. Common causes are: you haven't sold them enough to convince, the hype isn't there, or the timing of the ad was terrible.
3. Not sure if I see a question here?

hei, I have a strange problem, I have set a like campaign, and I have 10 adsets running on it for 5 different sites, and my audience is over 1,5kk big, a few days everything was ok, but then my ctr starts to dicreasing and I found out that by 100k impressions I only get a rech of 40k people, so why is fb showing my ads to the same people several times, if the audience is 1,5 million biig, maybe u got an answer on that, thanks in forward.

ps: I have exlcluded all peolpe that have already liked all of my sites.

This happens to everyone, you need to create ad variations, it's simply a saturation issue. So create new images/videos/copies.

anyway i can target the custom audience by using the Facebook user ID? is that anway to scrap ID to email address? is that still other way to scrap group page liker?

It's possible, but its not easy.

Nice to see people sharing valuable info. Much appreciated.

Thanks.

Is it possible to target people who are members of a specific Facebook page or group? I've heard some people allude to this, but I can't figure out how to do it, since it only allows targeting by certain categories or demographics.

See above.

So back in summer , i stopped working/doing ads on facebook and when i came back i was surprised that someone actually hacked my account and caused me a ban , i tried contacting the support for multiple time but they just keep declining and responding with almost the same question , what am i suppose to do in this case?

Honestly there's not much you can do, its unfortunate but you have to keep trying.

Like to hear your strategy on doing ads for real estate. It’s obvious to run ads within the selling area but how far would you spread out your audience to be cost effective?

For real estate (if you don't have a customer list) - you have to go as broad as possible to figure out your audience correctly, I would do city by city and go as broad as possible.

How many attempts does it typically take to find a great ad matched with an ideal target market?

Check previous message.

Hi Kasher9,

Thanks for such an informative thread, lot of golden nuggets in here. I have been trying to scale ad-sets without great results. I am gonna try your 3 duplicate scaling strategy right away ( though for WH Ads )

Just a small question related to this, do you duplicate them as split tests ( the new feature where you can duplicate them as STs) or do you duplicate them just like a normal adset.
My point of concern is trying to scale ads by duplication often resulted in high overlaps.

Just as normal adsets. The split-test functionality only really works for specific campaigns.

- Do you prefer to pay per impressions or per clicks ? I sometimes feel choosing a "click" optimization pushes facebook to show the ad to people who click more (and a lot are bots). What are your thoughts ?

I pay for impressions since we do conversion campaigns.

Hello Kasher9!

Do you think it is viable to use links on boosted posts?

Those links would be directed to facebook messenger and would be using the m.me url.

When I use it Facebook diminishes my reach by a lot (don't make it above the 80-90 people reached). Is there any workaround this?

Thanks!!

Why would you do it like this?

Your payments have been paused because of unusual account activity.
How to fix?

Appeal it.

What is the CHEAPEST way to get geo targeted FB page likes (in my case I need to target Italy)? I see some smm panels selling geo targeted ads likes for 60$/k. That means they get an even lower cost. I am new to FB ads btw

I can't share my entire trick, but investigate viral stories :)

They use click-bait ads that have a much higher click rate than anything that you would consider proper advertising for your page. Their Geo-targeting of course works just like you would do it. Italy is specifically easy, because of the different language, so no overlap with tourists or expats.

But in extension to Mark's question: is it possible that certain agencies/partners pay a much lower rate to begin with?

Hello kasher9,

What would be your best strategy for posting and advertising an event post? Do you recommend advertising a video about the event, or advertising the actual event page/post instead?

Video about the event definitely.

Do you have any example of any of these clickbait ads? Is there a limit for clickbait? I mean I can just make an ad that says "like to have a chance to win an iPhone" or something like that, and it would be accepted by FB?

I can post something tomorrow as an example.

Are there any software tools you use or recommend?

What are good sources to learn and keep up to date?

Software tools for what?

To learn: youtube is generally really good, but the best way to learn is to test test test.

Hey buddy! Great thread, some incredible value dropped already I see...

I'm a bit rusty with facebook ads. Small experience a few years ago but nothing since.

I offer a high ticket digital product which i'm looking to scale with facebook ads. I'm wondering the best way to go about an ad campaign.

The potential pixel data I can collect is from my facebook group, sales page, youtube vids. What would you suggest to someone in my position to start and scale a campaign for this?

I know its a bit vague but any help appreciated!

Do you currently have sales through other channels?

i made more than 30K last year by selling Brands conterfit products , my question is , is there any new strategy or tricks to sell this products on facebook ? with the new Fucking update ?

You got the pixel data?

Is it better to target the whole country (and let FB find the best performing cities), or I should target the specific cities in a given country?

What is your product?

Do you have a Facebook ads VIDEO SOP (mainly hook) that you would like to share?

E.x The Hook is really important because of the humans very low attentions span.

Also, what about the rest of the structure of your video? Do you do pain point resolution, are they stories, etc?

Good question, I'll find a case study video to share here since it seems people are interested.

I hope you don't mind me asking a lot of questions. Feel free to answer as many as you want.

I have a client who has many supplements in the fitness niche, health niche. I do understand these are quite competitive niches but since my client owns the company his ROI can be justified by customer LTV. Whatever I want to run is by complete whitehat means.

1. My client sells a lot on Amazon and wants to transition to other channels. Now I know that Facebook allows creating custom audiences from customer files and the accuracy depends on the amount of info. However amazon customer file doesn't have any email address and contains only the name and the address of the customer.

Do you think this information would be enough to have an accurate custom audience?
What kind of a campaign would you suggest to run just to test the accuracy of the audience?

2. How do you research audiences when you have NO prior custom audience from pixels or from a customer file? For example let's say one of the product is nitric oxide booster. This helps with workouts and gives you bigger pumps. What I do to understand the audience more is start with researching with similar web and write down any good demographic. I would probably get my hands on anything statistical related and get to know my audience as much as I can till I generate a customer persona .

What would be the required steps/mindset for me to research or create audience sets with no prior data?
What audience size would you recommend for testing new audience sets?

3. Now when it comes to the funnel, what kind of a funnel in your experience, is best suited for physical products more specifically in the fitness/health niche. The ones I'm aware of and continue to use are

blog article -> lead magnet ( FB lead ad ) -> sales page -> upsell->
video ad -> lead magnet to 90% video watched audience -> sales page -> upsell

Since It's the very beginning, I didn't want to make everything complex. Do you think I'm on the right track? Do you think can be something added here?

When it comes to nurtruting the emails, what are some of your tips on best practices? Ratio of sales emails/content type emails.
What email marketing software do you use? Do you think klaviyo would have a good use for my tasks?

4. In your experience, what is the best way to approach a cold audience on FB? And what metrics/variables do you consider most when targetting cold audiences?

5. How much audience size is a good fit for creating a look alike audience?

6. What conversion tracking softwares do you use and what setup would you suggest if one wants to track a lead all the way to the sale from email followups?

7. I would like to know your thoughts on how exactly should I approach this products marketing which has 0 branding/custom audience.

8. What books/podcasts/influencers or any resource would you suggest one should listen/read for Facebook ads.

9. Do you have experience with running fb ads for pay per call campaigns? If so do you have any advice on how exactly to start for that?

10. Lastly, I know this one is a broad question but what steps should a complete newbie take if they want to become proficient in creating whitehat profitable campaigns on FB for affiliate marketing? Can you suggest any good verticals a newbie should start with on FB ads? Do you think starting with foreign products in foreign countries which have an overall low CPM on FB with the help of a human translator, be a good idea for a beginner? Basically anything you would advice on the proper mindset required/things to focus on/work ethic for someone relatively new to FB ads

Thank you for sharing your information with us! I have a few questions.

I have a niche page I'm doing e-commerce and my page has 290k likes. Do you think it's effective to run ads for my audience? This should be cheaper?
And which type of ads do you think would be the most effective? Engagement or conversion? Or should I just ignore my audience and look for new customers through targeting?

Also, let's say I'm selling products for dog-lovers do you think I should target basic interests like dogs, dog owners, must love dogs. Or maybe it would be better to look for related pages through Audience Insights and then target users who like these certain pages. Because there is a huge competition in these basic interests, maybe this tactic would be better?

Thank you!

Hi kasher9, really thanks for this thread. Hope you can answer some of my questions:-

1) Any effective strategies to do FB ads for B2B business? (Selling industrial machinery)
2) For real estate FB ads, you mentioned in your answer that to go as broad as possible before narrowing down. However, what is good for a start? Videos, images, carousel? Any other strategies?
3) You mentioned about BH FB ads, I not sure what is BlackHat ads. Do you mind to give some examples?

Thanks

Have the 1000 emails converted somewhat at least?

Video ads have better quality, but CPM can be higher.

Nope.
They have got their free stuff and sometimes they get some news and promo stuff.

How to run BH ads and warez sites ads on FB and get our ad sets approved?
Any tricks?

Can i run campaginn as administrator ? Should go for fanpage or simply das direct to my main page ?

I can't share my entire trick, but investigate viral stories :)
Could you please provide more details about this? I am not asking for the full method, but has it to do with clickbait ads?
Can you please confirm or negate that FB allows clickbait ads like for example "like my page for a chance to win an iphone" or something like that? thanks in advance

What software do you use to manage the ads or spy on the competition?

Thank you my friend for your answers
I want to ask you about how to trick Facebook for publishing an ad clickbait of health with image and headlines ?

Any tips on how to start ads in Health / Skin care where pre / After Images are not allowed?

Hey, appreciate you doing an AMA on this.

I've had an idea for a while to run an FB Email campaign to get subscribers onto an email list. I won't go into too much detail about the niche, but it's WH and will help out potential local SEO customers.

Ideally I'd like to target individuals based on their geographical location down to a few cities, as well as their age group.

My understanding is the more granular your targeting, the more expensive each conversion costs. Is this true, and how can I reduce my cost per email sign up if my potential audience is perhaps 20k-30k in size?

Thanks for your time

How do you choose your interests? Except for audience insight, how do you know which ones to test in order to waste as less money?

Thank you for opening this kind of thread, it is very helpful and inspiring!

This is a complicated question - why do you think you will get banned?

Contact your bank - ask them to supply cards

A facebook group? No, but there is a way to target the members if you have access to the group - it requires a lot of scraping

My scaling strategy for WH is similar to BH but I'll do 10x adsets instead of 3x, which helps me figure out

Yes , i have more than 1000 customers , i dont want to email because i mad between 1k in month by this and this is not good , i need a way for facebook
ads ! to scale !!

1) Have you tried AdSense arbitrage with FB ads? If yes, what are your views on it?
2) I keep seeing these T shirt image ads(with link in desc) by a specific person. I know its the same person as the caption and tshirts are same in all the campaigns. All these campaigns have thousands of likes but I don't think the person has any license or right to sell those tshirts because of copyrighted designs ofc. So what are your views on this? Do you think the ad account is as at some sort of risk or something?
