Quoting from the Email: "We wanted to remind you that Facebook pages are getting an updated layout and several new features to help you engage with your fans. All pages will automatically be upgraded on March 10. · Notifications when fans interact with your page or posts · A place to showcase photos along the top of your page · A News Feed for your page · The ability to like and post on other pages as your page" I'm a bit confused about parts of this update. I'm already recieving notifications (usually about a week and half out of date...), and a news feed is easily added at the moment... But I am looking forward to being able to post as a page rather than an individual, I think it's going to make it alot easier to network with other organisations in our field (And I refuse to sign up for Facebook myself). The photo thing could be interesting assuming its not just a tab for photos... But I'm sure these nice things will be over shadowed by them removing support for something with no notice and resizing the windows on a whim Anybody think this will make much of a differance to the utility of facebook though? In my experiance pages always seemed like a good fit for charities and the like until you tried using them.
