Expired Tumblrs for Tier 2 Link Building?

Hey guys, what do you think of getting 10 expired tumblrs as tier 2 to my tier 1 links? Effective?

Otherwise, what others would you guys use for tier 2? Blogger.com?

Manually building web 2.0s for tier 2 is a waste of time and resources imo. Either point them to money site or don't use them at all.

I've built 5 new + aged domains web 2.0s for a low competition keyword.

Now I'm building my tier 2 and then will blast the tiers 2s. My tier 2 that I've started on are of less quality than the tier 1s.

I wanted to just GSA blast the tier 1s but decided to have a tier 2 for a more secure layer
