Expired Domain - Whether to buy or not

Hello,

I got an offer from someone about an expired domain with a not bad link building and it's not a spammy domain either; but the only problem is that when I checked it on archive.org, it's 301 redirected to another domain "since 2013". Do you guys think that it might cause any problem in the ranking? I want to use it as a money site.

I could check it out for you and give you a estimate on if it's worth to buy or not if you want me to.
It depends on if it 301'd to a spammy site if that's your concern. Shoot me a PM

Thanks for the kind gesture, but I would like to keep the domain private for obvious reasons.

No, it redirects to a real website. As far as I can see, it looks good to me.

Any experienced members wanna weigh in?

I think you should buy it. There's no matter if it redirects to an active site.
