Hey BHers,

I've got this expired domain with DA 26. Nich is classified ads. Is it safe to redirect 301 to my News niche?.

To be safe I want to know how I could utilize it wisely.

I don't know if Google would penelize my site.

I just started with expired domains, and instead of redirect domain to my moneypage, i recreate it from archive.org, and add link from it to my moneypage. What i read, its more safe.

But when im looking at my serp competition, a Lot of them just mass 301 redirect expired domains to moneypage. So only way to know for sure is test it.

Take the DA26 domain and make it into a nice website, something that doesn’t look like spam.

You now have something to build with, add content to the site and start to build links. This will help long term, and will help you not get any kind of penalty.

Just a heads up. Former classified ad domains are pretty much 98% abused or with absolutely abysmal backlink profiles.

So consider twice, before you decide to redirect that kind of domain to your money site, especially if it's already making money.

And even if it were clean, the niche relevancy isn't exactly there. Classified ads isn't news really, even though there might be an argument made that they are kind of related.

Whether it is secure depends on whether that strong domain has spam. If it has spam or some manual action is imposed on it, I wouldn't do it.
