Experts Give Advice.. What you all think.. Will it work?

Ok this is the deal. I have my website and own domain promoting Empower Network and adsense. However Empower Network gives you a free wordpress website so i decided to put 10 articles on the site. Now i have the empower site linking in to my website from contexual links and things.. will it be a good idea to build a whole lot of backlinks to the empower site which in terms boost up my website and if google ban or index anything it will be the blog and not my actual site? and can anybody give me a whole lot of backlinks for cheap..very cheap.. any ideas?
