Experience using multiple Facebook accounts on one device while still being safe
Managing multiple Facebook accounts on the same device is a common need for many people doing advertising, online business or taking care of pages. However, if you are not careful, you can easily encounter a situation where your account is locked, your identity is verified, or a series of checkpoints.
Here are some practical experiences that I have successfully applied:
1. Separate browsers and cookies for each account
Use different browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge to log in to separate accounts.
Or use "user profile" mode in Chrome to create multiple independent environments (can be named after the account).
Do not log in to multiple accounts in the same browser or incognito tab (easily duplicate device traces).
2. Keep the IP stable and unchanged
Use a fixed IP (if possible), do not turn WiFi on and off or change 4G networks continuously when logging in.
Avoid logging in to multiple accounts on multiple IPs in a short period of time – Facebook will consider it unusual.
3. Act like a real user
After logging in, interact normally such as browsing the news feed, viewing stories, commenting lightly…
Do not log in and then act aggressively such as sending multiple friend requests, changing information, or going to the advertising program immediately.
Maintaining real-like behavior will help the account “warm up” and be considered more reputable by Facebook.
4. Do not use the same phone number/verification for multiple accounts
Even if you share a device, each account should still have a separate email or phone number for verification when needed.
