I'm trying to ask a simple question about domain types but BHW thinks I'm trying to post links. I can't even say the type of domain extension without the moderation being triggered. I understand the reasoning, but how can I ask my question?

Id go with either an emd .net or emd .org

Seems to work best for me

In December someone at SEOmoz.org asked a similar question and I think the answers found their best represent where EMDs are for SEO these days. Hope this helps!
 
after analysis thousands of keywords specially for MNS in my life i can tell you
always go with EMD .....
 
The consensus seems to be go with the EMDnet. That was my first choice but I was reading on seomoz a few days ago that Google gives more credit to a com domain rather than a net. But it would make sense to go with the net.
