Exact Keyword Match net vs. Non Exact Keyword Match com?

I'm trying to ask a simple question about domain types but BHW thinks I'm trying to post links. I can't even say the type of domain extension without the moderation being triggered. I understand the reasoning, but how can I ask my question?

Id go with either an emd .net or emd .org

A domain name with hyphens is not an EMD!
.com org or net are the same and carry the same weight.

The consensus seems to be go with the EMDnet. That was my first choice but I was reading on seomoz a few days ago that Google gives more credit to a com domain rather than a net. But it would make sense to go with the net.
