Ever Created And Grown A Subreddit?

Not a good idea. Redditors are huge no lifer nerds, which means they are smart and won't buy shit from your subreddit, also the admins are cretins and will get jelly and ban you or take over the sub if they don't like what you are doing.

Truer words were never spoken.
You can`t sell shit on Reddit.
I have a sub with 15k wankers and apart from traffic to my porn website (not huge amount) cant monetize shit INSIDE when inside Reddit.

I wish someone would show me how to shill Reddit - but haven`t seen anything working myself.

Very true...Just to clarify...I never sell anything and never spam. I just use my sub as another traffic source.

if anyone ever posts a working way to get good money out of sub reddit's or reddit itself it would be saturated with in hours and the admins will ban it maybe 30 mins later.
Its annoying, 380 million accounts and just a few people are probably make good roll.
But I think you a have far more chance of making a decent return if you have say 100k + in the sub. If nothing else you could charge $30 - $100 for a sticky per day.

Yes. There is great money to be made in running a subreddit. The trick is doing it effectively, and doing it within Reddit admin guidelines.

Most of the time Reddit admins are going to end up finding your subreddit, and asking you to change the affiliate links. The way I have found to avoid this is to make sure you are offering the BEST and most AFFORDABLE product in your niche. If it's a dropshipped item - then an aliexpress affiliate link will last 100x longer on Reddit than creating your own website for it.

that is what I want to do as well

You know not everyone is into selling right?

Can`t sell shit in a porn sub.
The only thing wankers want is to have the path of least resistance to their porn.

I tried posting chaturbate links - didn`t work .

Did you own the sub?

@koderius @small_town_boy and others who are finding it hard selling or earning via affiliate commissions on reddit, maybe this will help.

I'd say this is false.

For product reviews its a huge driver of sales. But ONLY if the customer is unaware they are being sold to.

I have a subreddit (wel several), but this one has 19K subs and is active. Took me around 8 months to grow organically. As promoting goes, redditors are really picky and smart in general but as the main mod and creator I do send people to the discord channel.

Promoting does work but only after providing a lot of value and time. Build trust so to speak, post, crosspost. Now all the other members post several times a day and I did not post a single thing for months.

Also you can sticky a post like join our discord. Or follow us on Twitter (with link to your money site or offer in your bio/ information page). Or if/ when it provides value and is relevant a sticky post with a link to your site.

But growing a subreddit is hard work. Another way that works pretty well is having other Social media like FB, IG and/ or Twitter and have the link to your subreddit in the information/ bio. Then focus on growing those since it is easier to grow then a subreddit. There are plenty of services and products that can help you grow and generate traffic from FB/ IG and Twitter to your sureddit.

I've experimented a lot since I have a lot of my created subreddits failed hard :)

So basically automate your other Social channels with a link to your subreddit. Be active in your subreddit. Crosspost (as mentioned before) and provide value and relevant things.
