I have seen a few gigs on fiverr offer guaranteed page 1 rankings. Who knows exactly what they are doing? Is it sending traffic? Looking to do this myself. This method is very expensive as it doesnt really last multplied by many products.

thanks

I highly doubt it works. If it does and your product has great demand/high price go for it.

I'm really skeptical. Do you homework before you pay anyone.
Likely what you'll end up with is a whoel lotta garbage links pointing to your fivvr listing(s).

Sounds like too good to be true. There is no one who can guarantee page 1 ranking on any search engine unless they own it. So, you might want to buy it carefully.

I know that they do not send traffic but I do not know the exact answer. I am curious about it too.

I recently bought one of them, see attachment for proof. As you can see, I rated it poorly. The rankings improved a short while, but dropped right back after the gig finished.

What you basically receive is a screenshot stating 'look I ranked you'. However, I wasn't able to re-produce it.

You're. better of using a monthly service which keeps your rankings stable, or which offer money back guarantee, like Etsygeeks. But they also don't come for free.

I talked to this seller today and he told me that he does send traffic+ backlinks to the listing to increase the ranking

Algorithms are always the same ! That's logic..
I think they're blasting your product page with garbage backlinks and making some fake traffic on it...

I talked to the same seller and he told me that he does not send traffic. He gave me 14 days to rank 1st page for the kw that has 300k results. Other seller did not accept the same order because of high competition.

did you figure it out ?

So Etsy takes into account external backlinks or is it just the traffic that is causing them to think this is a popular item and should be listed higher?

But etsy concern with the conversation rate also. If they provide garbage traffic, this will effect the shop on bad way. What is your comment on it?

I sell about 60k a year on Etsy for one of my brands. In my personal experience, onsite SEO for Etsy goes a long way - no need to pay for services or link build.

I used to do paid ads on Etsy and stopped after auditing analytics/ROI because I didn't need it. I have never done any link building to Etsy pages, ever. I just use ALL the real estate for keyword phrases - materials, all the characters in the title, etc, and we rank on page 1 consistently for our products. Good keyword research for traffic and great pictures for conversions will take you far on the platform.

have yıu ever tried etsygeeks before?

@ceorhan Haven't tried them before, couldn't say. Right now we get about a dozen shop and product likes a day along with sales, so running with the "if it aint broke don't fix it" model. The only thing holding back additional traffic, TBH, are the product pages themselves - a lot of work to put up and link to other platforms (we sell on about 7 different marketplaces and do our own warehousing and CS - inventory & customer services across channels can be a nightmare).
