Now all the ETF hype has died down and we got that big BTC sell off after the exchanges announced they would list BU as an altcoin maybe the network congestion will ease and we get more time.
If it does hard fork just make sure you got your BTC in an offline wallet. So if you had 50 BTC before fork then after the fork you basically got 50BTC + 50Bitcoin-Unlimited. Fuck knows what it will do to the price but at least you will be in a good position to trade between the two.
Personally I think given enough time BU will show more vulnerabilities like recently and well end up with SegWit anyway.

Also, I want to add that anyone interested in what can happen with a fork should look up the story of how Etherium split into Etherium Classic and all the hacking and attacks that happened. By making sure your bitcoin is offline either in a paper or hardware wallet will save your self from a few heart attacks along the way.

You buy BTC from local and send them into poloniex , there you buy ETH with your BTC Balance, but i think that on local is pretty expensive to buy with Paypal, try Kraken instead and transfer them $$ throw bank .
