1. Enable 2 factor authentication
2. Do not click on unusual web links
3. Do not enter your login details on unusual links
 
a really good and strong password with capital letters, numbers and special characters also enable 2fa that is a must, do not click on suspicious links because know they can steal your log in token and that is the worst that could happen :/ I mean that is the basic.

you put your account into BM, i think that is the safest way, because many times you have 2-factor authentication but can still be hacked if they want

To protect your Facebook account from hackers:

  1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
  2. Use Strong, Unique Passwords
  3. Update Privacy and Security Settings
  4. Avoid Phishing Links
  5. Check Authorized Devices Regularly
  6. Log Out from Shared Devices
  7. Keep Software Updated
 
You should use strong password, update Privacy Settings, and log out of shared devices: always log out of your Facebook account when using shared or public computers. Only log into your Facebook account from devices you trust and avoid using public Wi-Fi for sensitive activities. Don't click on strange link!
 
Enable Facebook’s 2-factor authentication. Enter the security code sent to your phone.
 
Upgrade your account security, enable 2FA, verify your identity with your real face. Turn on all the security methods and don't give them to anyone.
