Enough is Enough. New Sticky Needed........

    Enough is Enough. New Sticky Needed........

    Like many who join BHW, they eventually fall in Love with her. As with all forums/websites there are most times a VIP section you have to pay for... I belong to 4 such forums. I am well established in some fields but relatively new to IM'ing full time. I decided to make an investment in my young IM career and finally join VIP. I must say I am disappointed in the entire process here...

    Firstly, I paid via MB and after I submitted payment was redirected to BHW home page. No, Thank You page, Email confirmation from BHW, etc. No confirmation or acknowledgment of my payment at all. I thought that was a little weird being Ive never seen that happen before else where. So I made a thread about it asking was that normal etc... No mods replied. A few members suggested I wait a while and some suggested contacting mods via PM...

    I PM'ed one Mod with transaction details and never got a reply.
    I PM'ed a second Mod and he replied. I then sent him a second PM with transaction details and never got a reply back.

    I paid four days ago.


    Now, Im not a hasty person or impatient but a little information goes along way.. Since no email from BHW was sent concerning my payment or what to expect I was left completely in the dark. I found one thread talking about jrVIP and the thread author suggested PM'ing him after paying if no upgrade is seen within two hours. I see no other mention or information for members who pay for VIP... Only threads where members are asking what the heck happened after they paid and weren't upgraded...

    There NEEDS to be a stickied thread for members to read for cases like mine and they have no idea what the heck is going on. The thread should at the very least say "Upgrades are done manually and will take at least XXX time to take place"......

    I understand some things take time but if that is the case the very least one could do is at least have the courtesy to let the person paying their hard earned money know whats going on. I'm not asking for accounts to be upgraded ASAP but at least have some respect and courtesy to your loyal members and answer PM's or make a sticky thread to prevent future PM's....

    We understand stuff happens and things take time. But keeping us in the dark is not the way to go about things. Especially, since people are paying for the whole year. The money isn't the issue. Its the principle of the matter. This isnt the way to do business.

    .....Let the bashing on me begin..... :/

    BigBuddy, the upgrading of my account is not the issue. You have to wait at most sites and I am use to it.

    My beef was not being in the know. It was being kept in the dark. It was not knowing. It was having no information to go on. My thread wasnt to get my account upgraded or bash anyone or this site. It was to prevent this type of situation from happening again. It was to make sure potential jrvip's are given proper information before paying. Its been 5 days and nothing... No PM, No email, No confirmation, No upgrade.... The frustrating issue is the lack of information.... Hence my thread... Maybe a sticky thread to at least let us know if there is a wait, how long to expect... Im VIP on 4 others sites and I've never encounters this before.

    I thank you for at least replying here BigBuddy.

    Big Props to BigBuddy. Took him a few seconds.... Not sure why this has taken 5 days when it didnt have to but I know things happen.....

    FYI, for any future ppl.... if you have an issue drop BigBuddy a PM... He gets stuff done!

    I'm pretty sure the mods here work for free and BB is one of the most generous guys with his time that I have ever seen as a mod.

    I wouldn't say that a sticky needs to be created. Perhaps the FAQ needs to be updated, if it really took you five days to be upgraded. I don't remember ever having any problems when I donated.

    I was upgraded right after payment and I also had Harro and BigBuddy do a sexy dance on youtube while holding a fluorescent welcome banner.

    i cant and wont argue that... Again my beef wasnt that I wasnt upgraded but being kept in the dark and ignoring of PM's... Hence, the title of my thread..

    I dont disagree with your post but that has nothing to do with the subject at hand...

    I never claimed to an expert in membership sites. However, allowing members to pay $97 USD and not acknowledging them for 5 days is not the way to do business.

    Disagree?



    I did suggest a "sticky" thread to inform members of the possible wait. Bad idea?

    Actually you are 100% wrong.

    BigBuddy did what he always did... provide spectacular service to someone in an outstanding manner and should be commended for that.

    The guy does the mod thing here for free... goes out of his way to aid those that need aid, works on weekends (I know this from first hand experience) and made sure that you were properly taken care of.

    The subject was that you think that BHW should change their practices and I pointed out that their practices are balanced by quality guys.. in this instance BigBuddy.

    I could laud an applaud 7878, Harro, Pofecker, Wiz, Peter (we miss you , brother) and some of the others but in this instance it was BB.

    The forum is not ours and being a JrVip is a privilege not a right whether you pay for it or not.

    I've been around a lot more blocks than you and see a much bigger picture than you do.... you more than owe BB for helping you out.

    Do you think having people pay $97 for something and not acknowledging them for five days is okay, and ignoring PM's okay? I'd hate to see what type of company you run if you think there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    Contrary to your post here I did not once suggest they change anything. That is none of my business. I simply suggested a thread for people to read who have no idea whats going on after paying for jrvip.

    I understand you are loyal etc.... But right is right and wrong is wrong... You dont play with peoples money like that.

    #2 - It's only 97.00 and five days... drink decaf from now on.
    #3 - I've run at least 15 companies over the last 30+ years and you would be impressed with the quality of the service that my companies have provided if we would have accepted you as a client.

    $97 may not be alot to some but I could think of many ways to use $97. If $97 is such a small amount of money to you, you are more than welcome to reimburse me.     False. I came across several threads.

    I have nothing against him personally. He may very well be a solid guy and run a great company. But if he accepts payments for something and doesnt acknowledge his customers for 5 days I'm confident some would complain. I respect his loyalty to this site but disagree with his stance that Im over reacting... No one in their right mind is comfortable paying for something and okay with no confirmation or knowledge of the time frame for delivery.



    What was I suppose to do guys? Mods weren't replying to my PM's. A thread I made had no replies. And the only thread talking about jrVIP said to PM a mod after 2 hours if account wasn't upgraded......... Lets not let loyalty blind common sense. If there was a thread saying upgrades took 5 days, i would have been okay with that because at least I would known what the heck was happening... Hence, my thread title of a new sticky thread being created. At least let us know what to expect.......... Had it not been for BigBuddy how long would I have waited? At least an automated email letting me know my payment was received would have provided some peace of mind..... I had no idea if payment even reached BHW....

    Saying that the site needs a new sticky is a kin to suggesting but that is just semantics I guess.

    Look, you're all set up... things are fine for you as a JrVip... let it go, man.

    No need for anyone to continue to harp on things.

    I've been on his Christmas card list since 1985 as I ran several companies for him.
