I am intrigued by you're knowledge within this space. You made a few very useful comments for me, I understand most of what you are mentioning. And I have researched everything I did not know about.

Yet the part which I would like to ask a few follow up questions is **domain-registration** I had heard of using aged domains before. And it did interest me, the info you provided on looking for at-least 3year old domains with good backlinks sounds good.

I wanted to ask;
1. How many Backlinks are you looking for on the domain? ( ranges from 0-100K )
2. Are you looking for "BL" backlings or "DP" backlings?
3. Any other specified data you are looking for on expireddomains.net
4. Does the domain extension mater when buying expired domains?

If possible could you take me trough you're steps of registering a fresh domain you are going to use for you're campaign! I really enjoy getting to know this field through a experienced player such as your-self ^_^

When finding a domain for bulk emailing, you don't get many choices, and Spam filters only care about:

  • DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Sending behavior and patterns.
  • Spam complaint rates.
  • Bounce rates and trap hits.
  • Presence on blacklists.
also
  • Domain name must be relevant to the offers you are sending
  • Backlinks are the plus point. and when you get a domain with backlinks make sure to put a landing page.
  • Domain extension does matter, and .com always wins the race in cold emailing.

that $40 ROI stat is misleading as hell and here's why nobody talks about it...

that average includes amazon sending order confirmations, your bank sending statements, and saas companies emailing existing customers. these aren't cold emails or even marketing emails really. they're transactional emails to people who already bought something. of course the roi is high when you're emailing people their receipts.

for actual email marketing campaigns the realistic roi is more like $4-8 per dollar if you're good. still profitable but not retirement money unless you're at massive scale. and getting to scale is where everyone fails because building a quality list takes years not weeks.

you're right about free ebooks being trash for list building. everyone uses burner emails for those. discount codes work better but only if you're already selling something people want. the email course idea is decent because it trains people to open your emails but most people still ghost after day 3.

the real money in email isn't in the tactics, it's in having something worth buying and an audience that trusts you. every guru selling email secrets conveniently forgets to mention they spent 5 years building an audience first. they make it sound like you just need the right subject line when really you need the right product and reputation.

start small, focus on providing actual value, and expect to lose money for the first year while you figure out what your audience actually wants. anyone promising quick riches from email is selling you their course not teaching you reality.

Im currently running ads on FB to collect leads and then use sendx to send the emails. I had a 7 day old domain, sending out gambling related offer.

Since I am new to email, I thought people just didn't open their email, but after a couple days I noticed literally no one opens the mails, so I did some test check my score. The email was inboxing on some test tools. The domain was on the Fresh domains "backlist" because it was under 30 days old.

However, when sending it to a gmail inbox I controlled, it didn't even hit spam!

So now I am confused, because I thought I can use services to send out my emails, but it still doesn't work.

I bought 3 new domains and set them up with paid google workspace, in hopes they will trust the emails more when they are sent from another google network.

Right now I am warming up these domains with a warming service, starting with very little amount of emails and replies per day. Like literally 3 a day and gradually scale them up to 100 emails a day in 1.5 months.

my question:

1) Should I abandon these new domains and buy expired domains as you recommended?

2) right now I collect leads, but can't send them emails because I worry I get blocked again (even when sending through a provider like sendx). How long should I warm them and how many emails a day should I reach within a specific timespan, so I can send around 300 emails with the offer to my freshly opt in leads?
 
- The money is in the follow-up and building a relationship, not just the initial lead magnet.

i use mailwizz and gmail for sending.
this time i use 370 gmail to send 15-20k email daily
getting open rate 12% and click rate 6%, depend on copywriting
my target is website traffic for ads
its generate stable income but thank adsterra, my account banned

i believe its a good investment.
i will try use html for next email

this time i do 440 gsuite account to send 50 email per day
its good to generate traffic for website
i will increase later each month
 
A lot of people focus on copywriting first, but inbox placement is the real game.

You can have the best offer and perfect subject lines, but if your domains and inboxes are weak, nothing moves. That’s why ROI numbers feel fake to beginners.

I learned faster once I stopped building everything from scratch and used proper Google Workspace admin panels or Outlook admin panels with warmed inboxes, SPF/DKIM/DMARC already handled and sending reputation managed properly.

Some people rent them, others buy the full admin panel for long-term control.
