Effect of nulled themes on SEO?

Hi everyone, I need suggestion from the experts on BHW.

I am having a wordpress site, I used a nulled theme to build the website. Done onpage and build links to it from last 3 months. But it doesn't have any improvements in rankings. My keywords are struck on 2nd and third page. no changes since last month.

So, I am wondering Is nulled theme affects the SEO of the website.

Your English is perfectly understandable. I don't think you being stuck is due to the nulled theme.

I will give you my opinion if you state why exactly nulled theme could be a problem.

Rankings might actually be affected.. From my experience, nulled themes usually have code that allows other people to add their links to your site (sometimes in a manner that is invisible to the naked eye, such as a 1x1 pixel in the source code, with a link to an online pharmacy or another type of dodgy site) making your website insecure. If you feel that you did everything right and your rankings should be better, then check your pages source code to see if there are any outgoing links that are hidden.

I doubt the nulled theme is a problem with ranking. Have used nulled themes before on many sites and never saw a difference in ranking versus free themes.

Also Google is taking longer to show SERP changes. I pointed a PBN to a money site last week and still haven't seen any changes.

I just want to know that nulled themes does create any problem in SEO or not. If they don't the suggest me any idea to boost my rankings.

No offence but if site shit, nulled themes not help. Analyze top for your keyword and think what they have, and you dont have

Nulled themes won't affect your ranking. Google doesn't check your code.

Note bro:

- 90% of wordpress themes are anti-seo, even simplest things as headings are fuked up, even on "seo themes"
- its however easy to fix them
- nulled plugins and themes often bring security issues as well as viruses and unwanted code! one of nulled plugins I used, created an invisible subpage that was indexed in google and contained plenty links to some trashy spamsites
- first do 800 contextual domains backlinks refering per month, then cry about no results
- also i believe 80% of your backlinks arent even indexed, use better indexers. 80% of newbies fail at this point, they do backlinks and nothing changes
- if you would have done onpage correctly, u would realise answer to your question, so consider doing onpage once again
- google can spot if web 20s have default themes, then it marks them with 'spamflags' and ranks them lower. the less spamflags the better. But i doubt this apply on every cms/theme, probably only default themes on popular web20 platforms. Duplicate content within code doesnt exist. So no, they can't rank you lower for nulled theme, as they dont rank code. However your theme could have bad onpage by default. Consider that.

Nulled themes can have a negative effect because they can have backdoors, hidden links or malicious code in them.

Gotta be VERY CAREFUL.. nulled themes can have backdoors or hidden links that steal your SEO link juice..

Used a nulled theme years back that redirected 1 out of every 10 visitors to their website.. woulda lost a fortune if I kept that theme when I launched!
