eBay & PayPal Help Desk - Ask me anything! Expert Advice

Hello redclover :) I used to sell on ebay social media services! The thing is i was selling something like 5-6 items and i used to do this for months!
Now before 1 week i decided to add more and i added 25-30 new listings (silly move) and ebay restricted my selling privileges for 30 days!
I want to ask you if there is a way to sell these services on ebay (like listing them on another category or say that it is not shipped digitally etc.etc.)!

Thanks :)

I agree with the above statements. Although I have not needed any help as of yet with egay or gaygal, I have had several conversations with him, and feel comfortable referring anyone with those types of problems to him.

By the way. This is one of the nicer looking posts I have seen

humm!! did you mean Ebay and Paypal,is there any thing like egay gaypal

my products are digitally delivered. How do i get my funds faster? i mark item as shipped and buyer marks as received and left positive feed back. 100% seller rating on a fairly new account(18 sales).

We discussed this on Skype and I appreciate the conversation.

Hello sk8tavou,

Thank you for your question. Well as you probably already know eBay frowns upon selling digital items. It sent up red flags to eBay
When you had so many listing that were digital. Now as far as getting back to selling again...Just let your account sit and relax for the 30 days. As far as improving this system I have two tips from you that I have even heard other digital sellers use. First sell by your product photo and not the listing title. What I mean is this. Say I was selling "1000 Facebook Likes" Okay in the picture I would have that said within the graphic. But the Title would say something more vague and harder for the eBay automated system to recognize. For the sake of a tracking number with PayPal you could send your clients an "Instruction Guide" in the mail to get a tracking number. This will definitely help trick the eBay system into thinking it is a tangible item and not digital.

Hope some of these tips helped out!

Take Care,
RedClover

Hating ebay right now.

So I got myself another account, and list my items...

All is fine the item appears in ebay search etc.

I check back 30 minutes later and it is gone from the search results, it is not displaying under my items for sale in my profile, but it is still an active listing in my selling manager.

The item can also be accessed by searching the listing ID.

This has never happened to me before, could anyone explain?

Thanks

Often on new ebay accounts your listings will not show up in the search for up to 12 hours after you list them.

its a 2 year old account, although nothing has been sold on it for over a year.

MY concern is that is appeared for 30 minutes and then went?

Hi, nice to see you helping people,
Last month i joined Ebay and posted my first item i got 10 sales but only one person left feedback which was positive.
What is the best way to to get positive feedback from most of the buyers?
Thanks for your help.
Regards

Sugar - that is exactly what usually happens. The listing will show up initially then disappear from the search for up to 12 hours. I have had this happen on many new accounts - not always but sometimes. Maybe has something to do with the listing category?

It can depend on the item you are selling, if its something personal and the listing was not private people may not feel comfortable leaving feedback.

I often get feedback after I leave it for others, you could politely message the people asking for feedback?

Feedback isn't instant people often leave it for me weeks after a purchase.

Swift - I have listed it in wholesale/other to get around limits.
I have always done this on past accounts with no problem.

I guess its just a waiting game...

Sorry for double post, please merge if possible.

Agree with Sugar - feedback seems more difficult to get these days. I always follow up in a few weeks with a polite email letting them know that I left them great feedback and asking if they would do the same.

Its a link building package and i have not left feedback for any buyer, that might be the reason?

Well a user cant gauge if your links have worked straight away.... that's most likely why, they are waiting to see your service actually works before leaving feedback.

Since a buyer has paid for the product before you delivered it they usually expect you as the seller to leave feedback first.

I always do.

Redclover thanks a lot for your reply! Can i add you on skype? I dont need to ask something else now i just want to have you in my contacts :)

thanks for offering help.

About a year ago, i tried a "windows 7 key selling method" posted here. I was very new to ebay selling.
So they banned my account. It was my real address and real name.
Is there anyway, i can get it back? I will not try to sell any illegal stuff anymore, it was a big mistake, as a newbie.

plz help.
thanks

hello, I have a question. if I were to have replicas being shipped from China,I know that customs inspects packages by weight. If I have small packages, such as 5kg shipped, do you think it will get through customs? I want to get at least 10 small 5 kg packages per week, do you think this is safe over time? or will it be likely to be seized since there are so many packages? thanks

This isn't exactly Ebay related, but here is what I know from my experiences:

It depends more on the shipping lable to often chinese suppliers put "$8 gift" etc on huge packages, the problem is that if customs open these and find items, they will charge you import duties, and you may get in trouble for trying to avoid them.

If they find some replicas they may destroy them/blacklist your address.

If they find a large quantity of replicas, they may contact the company concerned, which leads to legal "stuff".

Also if they are unsure of an item being a replica they will send a sample to the original producer for verification, which again results in the above.

I have found splitting bulk orders into many packages, even if they all come at once does help.

You can import as much as you want as regularly as you want, however constantly having it labelled as gift is going to cause concern, but you also cant declare them as replicas for obvious reasons.

If you are importing fake LV, and declare it as legit, you will get raped by customs duties.

If you want to do a lot of shipments learn about drop addresses and reships.

Hope that helps!
