Ebay droppshipping Vs Shopify

Im new to dropshipping , i noticed that there are tons of sellers on ebay, selling the same items, with high seller feed back, im thinking its going to take me a while to rank high on ebay because my items are not selling. So im considering shopiffy because i can target my own customers easier to get sales maybe , im not sure, any feedback ?

Both platforms present their own challenges. The challenge with Shopify is driving traffic to your site. Most successful drop shippers tend to heavily use Facebook ads to bring traffic to their sites. If you're unwilling to put in the initial financial investment for ads then this route may not be viable. Developing a marketing strategy and how you'll target your customers is absolutely crucial because no one will know about your site.

Identifying a niche is also very important. You should be hesitant to pick a niche such as women's clothing because the niche is likely to be saturated and the potential for a customer to return a product is much higher vs. something like a watch. Things such as keychains or picture frames could be a possible niche but you'll have to do some research on Ebay, AliExpress, Google Trends, etc. to see how competitive that particular space is. You may also want to select a niche where you have some interest because you're more likely to enjoy selling and marketing that product, and will likely have some level of expertise.
