Ebay - Destroy a rival!

I'm just going to say 95% of prices are cheaper than what I'm selling on ebay.

HOWEVER I still sell stuff-- the same stuff they are selling!
I always offer free 3day shipping.

Yes I only make $4 per transaction,but $4 its better than 0!

Just perform better than him.

But if you want to be really blackhat.
Engage people to buy his item (items you have counterfeits for) then just return the counterfeit item.

Not saying I have people who do this, nor am I saying I have partners who routinely cycle their counterfeit goods for real goods.

Thanks to all who gave adequate and helpful answers, I'll htink what I can do, because I haven't yet told anything to my friend, just wanted to help him. As for those who posted hate replies here - continue to were pink glasses - it's your choice...

This is how Chinese sellers compete, why would you order from china otherwise?
And it's a sellers right to sell whatever price he wants too, and had you been on the receiving end IE the buyer I'm sure you wouldn't be complaining with cheaper prices.

Anyone having problems with chinse sellers are simply doing it wrong, make your listings look better, use good keywords, offer good customer service and its easy to out sell anyone from china and hong kong on a similar product.

It's kinda tiring to see people think OMG hes selling it cheaper, I won't sell any! when this isn't a fact people will always prefer to order from non Chinese sellers assuming you aint pricing your product stupidly.

It's also worth pointing out 99.9% of Chinese Sellers don't have top seller status, this alone can increase your sales by 10-15% as recent stats released by eBay shown that 1.5-10 order from top seller even if the price is slightly higher.

If you want to be a eBay Marketeer don't sell just one item.

DUDE! the reason why you get such bad feedback from us is for all we konw I could be the competitor. This is crazy, this is not how we do business, you knock them out, they learn your technique, they come back and knock you out. If they are able to beat you in price then your friend is the one who needs to find better supplier or get out of the business if he can't compete.

Come on so if gas station next to yours sells cheaper gas what? You going to ask how to blow up the gas station? Get used to competitors making you lower your price, or stop selling on ebay and go retail with physical shop.

My friend was making money on ebay, now someone is making more than him and he is making less, so tell me how to destroy them.

Also, instead of being in wonderment why most ppl disagree with your approach it should be a wake up call that what you are asking is so much in wrong thinking that even here at BHW we frown on this. Try making stealth ebay accounts which are legal , and make a macro using imacro for all those ebay accounts to flag this user ,or his items , soon he will be banned...

There are many ways to destroy your competition on eBay but the only time I would use those techniques is to destroy a piece of shit like you.I hate people like you with a passion you is placed in the same chapter as child molesters in my book.I don't care if the guy is from China or fucking MARS if the niche is too saturated then switch fucking niches.I had a piece of shit like you try to destroy my eBay business a while ago he got one of my accounts suspended but it dint matter I had more on reserve.I found out that he was selling the same thing I was selling and was nothing but a jealous asshole.So I returned the favor plus extra I did my research and found out his real address and phone number and post that shit on Craigslist in the men seeking men section in his city with his picture I found on Myspace(like I said it was a while ago). Believe me I could of did more like actually going to his house and kicking his ass.Here is a piece of advice NEVER play around with someone source of income no matter where you are, real world or online because things can get real serious real fast.
